During his 2 seasons as a 20-10 player, Al took more shots than Boozer ever did for the Jazz. For example, last year Boozer only averaged 14 shots per game, and during 07-08 when he averaged over 21 ppg he averaged 16 FGA. Al averaged 17.6 FGA when he scored 21 ppg and 20 shots when he averaged 23 ppg. Both players got to the FT line at about the same rate.
Far too early to know but at this point I'd expect Al to get about 15 shots per game and like Boozer wind up giving us around 18-20 ppg. Al will get more opportunities than Booze in the low post but not as many off screen-roll. Plus I expect him to be paired with Millsap regularly and Sap to take more shots next year than he ever has.
