Just the # of dumb *** threads about him shows that this is definitely not overblown. Hell the guy still gets cheers while playing for an opponent shows the same thing. That real Jazz fans have to boo him just to hide the embarrassment of some scrub getting cheers on their home court shows that this is not overblown. It's a real thing and he's not worth it.

10 to 20 would be my guess if not more. And we have one in the middle of the summer league when we have 3 legitimately better PG's already in the system. Burke, Exum, and Neto.

How many threads have there been about us getting Thomas from Sac? He's better than Jimmer. Their are more than 50 better PG's in the NBA and Europe yet Jimmer has had more threads than any of them. Outside of maybe Rondo.

This thread is about jimmer instead of jl3 by the way. its not a thread about jimmer starting, or even being a contributor.

If neto was here this thread would not even exist.
so some people would rather have jimmer over jl3.... jimmer is a better shooter, younger, and cheaper.
Big deal.

Sorry im not more dramatic about jimmer like you seem to be but jimmer just doesnt move the needle for me one way or the other.

Just an FYI. Their have been 112 threads with Jimmer in the title of the thread. For a player that has never played here. That's why I don't think the effect of him on the bench is overblown.

Read this thread for an example
What are most of the posts saying about jimmer? Are there lots of posts calling for him to start and be featured in the offense.

I read jazzfanz often and i have probably read these threads about jimmer and 95 percent of the posts about jimmer are people saying he sucks, is a bust, and will never be any good.

The more optomistic opinions about jimmer seem to be that maybe he could be a good back up.


I think there are WAY more jazz fans that would like to see exum on the court than jimmer. Even an overwhelming majority of byu fans think exum is more deserving of court time than jimmer

Right, I'm sure they'd show up by the thousands to watch Jimmer hold down the bench night after night. Besides, we don't need that kind of riff raff hanging around constantly whining about why he isn't playing.

The fact that you keep saying it's overblown doesn't make it so. I think what's overblown here is your opinion.

Who cares what someone in the stands is or isn't whining about? It's not going to effect anything with the organization or coaching staff. John Lucas III got 14 minutes per night last year. All I'm saying is I would prefer to give those same minutes to Jimmer if I had the choice and for similar amounts of money. No more no less on average. Any smart fan would never ask to have his minutes take away from Dante or Trey, but I haven't seen anyone say that in this thread.
 
1st Jimmer has an nba talent he shoots 40+% from 3

2nd I want him as a 3rd pg not a starter or back up

3rd exum deserves all the back up minutes.

4th even having jl3 on the roster is a travesty to basketball.

5th fish is spot on.

6th the haters that are posting can suck it.

7th I enjoy Jimmer I like to watch him play.

Agree 100%. Do it now, before he's forced to sign a new contract in Europe and you gave to cover the buyout. I think it's only a matter of time. The longer they wait, the more it will cost.

Neto is best case scenario otherwise go as cheap as possible
 
Jimmer is clearly a better player than JL3. And anyone who doesn't think he would be a huge sideshow and distraction is completely delusional.
