You can't make up rules in your favor after the fact. If you agreed to throw out Boris's vote, then you agreed to throw out Boris's vote.

What do you have against my suggestion of a completely new vote with a beforehand agreed-on contingency for a tie?

Boris is a known troll. His vote shouldn't be counted, AND YOU ALREADY AGREED TO THAT. No point in arguing it, unless you want to go back on your previous decision?

There has to be an easier way to figure out tiebreakers. The easiest solution (IMO) is having a designated tiebreaker who only votes in any of the contests if there is a tie. I'd nominate any of Jason, Colton or fish for that role. Outside of a tie, they're just observers. In the result of a tie, they're alone in deciding the result. Figure it out ahead of time who it is and eliminate all of this other noise. No more re-votes, runoff votes, or pandering to alt or troll accounts. Everyone who can't, or doesn't vote during the poll doesn't count. Just pick one, legitimate vote to decide things in the event of a tie. Winner takes all.

And Hekate already conceded but it's okay for him to change his mind because? Why? You voted for him?

You can't come up in here saying it's not fair but think it's alright to throw out someone's vote.

I merely brought it up because people want to talk about what's right and wrong now.

I care because from my perspective it looks like you shut off the voting at a point when it was most advantageous to you. Not because I voted for Hekate.

Colton is probably the most unbiased person on this site.

I don't always agree with him, but he's not biased. And why would he be biased against you? Be logical.
 
Whatever happens here, I think we definitely should have a designated way to decide a tie for the remaining match ups. Last thing we want is for this to happen again.

Similar to what Ellis suggested, I think there should be three individuals who only vote in the event of a tie. Maybe those three are colton, Jason, and another mod?

How about this.

Whoever he votes for wins the matchup no questions ask. If we're being honest and straight up the matchup is 5-5 in total votes right now.

Fair for everyone?
 
I do agree we need some kind of tie-breaking system or committee. A panel of three designated people who don't vote unless there is a tie.
