Looks like ISIS is claiming responsibility on twitter. I feel so safe being in California right now.
That newspaper would be great to start my chimney. What a grotesque, irresponsible, deceiving piece of garbage news headline that is. Please tell me it ain't real?

You can't be serious.
Cocaine is illegal.
Drinking and driving is 'banned.'
Ticket scalping.
Stealing.
If we ban guns the bad guys still have guns. Not sure what that accomplishes.
I'm sure glad I live somewhere responsible citizens can easily get access to a gun to defend themselves from the mentally ill. Your argument is invalid.
Police in California have named two suspects killed after a mass shooting which left 14 people dead at a social services centre.
The man and woman, Syed Rizwan Farook, 28, and Tashfeen Malik, 27, were killed in an exchange of fire with police. Farook had been a San Bernardino public health employee for five years, police chief Jarrod Burguan said.
The attack took place at an event on Wednesday for Farook's colleagues. None of the victims has been identified.
The Inland Regional Center, where the shooting took place, provides services for people with developmental disabilities, but the shooting appeared to be unrelated to its clients.

So.. appparently the suspects are locals.
What you're saying makes sense to me. I don't own a gun so I'm not sure exactly how hard they are to get. I don't think you should be able to get one legally if you have mental or criminal issues.I don't really wanna get involved in a gun related discussion with muricans, but I have one question I'd love to see answered honestly:
Do you think it makes a difference if someone with criminal tendencies/intents can go to a regular shop and buy a gun + deadly ammo, or if he has to start nurturing shady contacts before they can buy a gun stolen from military supplies or smuggled into the country through customs.
I personally think it's a big deal if you limit the availability of weaponry for people who find themselves in a temporary state of anger/frustration or whatever leads them to shoot at other human beings in irrational fashion.

I personally bought a gun (used) legally in Texas without a background check.
I think many states have similar loopholes.
Is this really where you're starting from in this discussion?
Wow.
