Anthony Davis requests trade. Pels become league’s biggest seller

I actually think Ball would be a good fit with Donovan. A little extra Jazzmatazz.

But Dante could also be that guy if he keeps evolving the way he recently has.

I suppose this would depend on if we've acquired a second scorer.

Is he gonna play over Korver?

I mean maybe we could do Sef for him and our second unit would be:

PG-Rxum
SG-Moore
SF-Korver
PF-Jae
C-Faves

Better than Royce I guess but not a move that’s gonna move the needle imo. And at 8M...
No. I think it’d be if we moved Ricky or Dante... he’d fit well with Donovan be kind of the steady solid shooting combo that plays alongside him when he’s playing more point. He’s like the least exciting trade target ever.

Something weird happened... my phone telling me time to quit.

If Lonzo did get traded here, his father would suddenly reemerge and be an outspoken figure. We don't want any of that. The only reason he's quite now is because Lebron is ruling the roost.

Lonzo sucks... and his sideshow alone would likely make DL pass. Ricky is better and is here and is low maintenance and a good team guy.

Donovan, favors, filler for AD.

AD + Gobert + Ingles and filler = rings

There's a rumor that The Laker organization is paying his Dad to keep his mouth shut.

I can only imagine how The Jazz FO would approach that arrangement, lol.

Lakers HAVE to make this work. NO must demand:

LONZO
INGRAM
KUZMA
HART
ZUBAC

And 2x (distant) Unprotected 1sts for the privilege of having no competition in negotiations.

NOs aint blowing anything up, they have a bunch of young talent coming.

Lonzo
Jrue
Ingram
Kuzma
Randle/Zubac

Rozier
Jrue
Hayward/Brown
Tatum
Randle

Those line ups are WAY better than anything youll hope for a decade after 'blowing' it up.

Best option. Sit AD (must stay healthy), sit Jrue, trade Mirotic and TANK. Trade AD when everyone is at the table (Id hope for straight swap for Zion), bring Jrue back next year.

This is a competent GMs dream.

The Lakers + Jrue is a lottery team still and would be better off moving Jrue too to go all in on youth.

The Celtics package + Jrue can still compete especially if they nab Horford in the deal too (which I think they would).

You are judging 2 x 21yr olds and a 23yr old in his sophomore season. They are still a year or two away from delivering on their potential.

Right so why keep Jrue in that case when if we're assuming in two years time they'll be reaching their potential Jrue will be on the wrong side of 30 and nearing the end of his contract when you could move him for assets or players that fit the timeline of the other young guys instead? That way as well you let the Warriors dynasty start to burn out (if it hadn't already been split up) and many of the other superstars in your conference start to hit the wrong side of 30 as well.

I trade AD to NY for Porzingis, Hardaway and NY's 2019 1st.

Then trade Mirotic.

Then find a big trade for Jrue.

Tank like hell (you can't tank if you take LA deal or you wait until summer).

Result for NOLA: top 3 NY pick, top 7 NOLA pick, pick from Jrue, Porzingis. That's a brighter future than Jrue and LA guys or Jrue and Tatum.

Consider me mildly interested in E’Twaun Moore. Iirc, he’s developing as a PnR ball handler, has some defensive chops, and is a threat from 3.

Makes $8.8 this year and $8.6 next year.

He’s 6’4”ish and weighs 190ish
He's horrendous on D
