So many small moves would have made a huge difference... Jared Dudley, omri casspi, Cory Joseph, teletovic, didn't have to be nordstroms but hell let's at least walk the aisles of wal mart... Instead we went to whatever dollar store the have in Europe and got Neto and Pleiss.

And then he expects Hayward to even WANT to stay? That's why I say trade Gordon now. I won't even blame Gordon when he takes less to go to Indiana, Boston, Charlotte or wherever. Those teams at least TRY to provide some help to their starters.

DL is so laughably transparent and inept. He signs Ellijah, hoping it would convince Paul to give Utah a huge discount as a free agent last summer. Now he acquires Shelvin, who was Gordon's little buddy at Butler. If it weren't for Sam Hinkie, DL might be viewed as the most pathetic GM in the league.

But maybe it's not entirely his fault. I've gotten a sense, ever since the Jazz were turned over to a board, that maximizing profits is the #1 goal of the organization - not winning. We'll see.
