Am I the only one that is more concerned with the amount of years we sign Hayward for, and not quite worried as much about the cash? Seems like most of the bad deals are based on high amount of years to go along with a high salary
The most years Hayward can get through FA is 4. The money is irrelevant in this case, because by the time we need Hayward's money, his deal will be over. I stand by my statement that if the Jazz get their "guy" (Parker, Embiid, Wiggins, whoever they feel will be a superstar) then you keep Hayward. If they don't get their "guy" then let him walk, and prepare for another bad season.
