They have a big sound, but their themes and lyrics are hollow and don't stand for much. There just doesn't seem to be much reason for them to make that much noise. It's kind of like the later days of Aerosmith, where they had these way over-produced songs that had nothing to say...
 
Alright, about Nickelback. I loved there first album. Bought it after hearing the first song. Then they Nickelback'd and played the same **** over and over and over. I was a hater for a long *** time until I realized, you know what, these guys are making an *** load of money filling the Nickelback niche. It really is not there fault for following the money. Besides, Chad Kroeger produced Porn Star Dancing by My Darkest Days, which is a bad as pump up song.

**** the haters. Y'all only hate because they became caricatures of themselves and no longer produce cutting edge, industry altering music like they once did.

I would throw creed into the ****ty band mix for sure...... But they are amateurs at sucking compared to nickleback
 
Nickleback sure are successful for a band that every single person says they totally hate them and would never listen to them. Must be voodoo. Only explanation.
 
One Love's creep factor has multiplied by a factor of about 100 in this thread. I didn't think that could happen.
 
This is the first time I've even heard of Avril Lavigne since Middle School.

She was awful then and she is probably still awful.
