That awkward moment next year, when Toronto has an award ceremony with a poster of their former coach standing center court.
 
Donovan already won the important ROY, the one the players voted for. I think Stevens or Quinn should win the COY. I give Stevens a lot of credit losing both Hayward and Irving. The fact he got his team to game seven ECF was amazing job. However, the West is so much tougher that no one should argue if Snyder won it. I am sure the East coast media will complain but getting the Jazz to the semi-finals after their horrendous start was an amazing coaching job.

They are not ****. Both are clearly deserving of their individual awards. But Simmons, Stevens and Casey are also deserving of winning.

Destroying him in two of the three main stat categories and FG% probably helped...

You guys are so weird about this stuff. Lol.
 
I personally think these awards should be voted on by their peers.

COY - coaches
DPOY, rookies, MVP, etc, - players

Reporters, frankly, sometimes don't know ****.

well he did it in the eastern conference which is by far the worse conference. Not surprised he won. The award was pretty much handed to him at the start of the season. Again I think DM has more respect from the players around the league.

I watched Simmons in the playoffs and he was pretty much shut down against Boston because he can't shoot from outside. They can just pack it in and dare him to shoot. Was not impressed with his game.

This, Mitchell carried a much bigger load leading the Jazz to the semifinals in a much more competitive conference. You can’t say Mitchell doesn’t deserve ROY with a straight face. If anything it should have been awarded to both players.
