Ben Dowsett is an embarrassment. He doesn't represent Jazz fans

Yeah, but I think he definitely aspires to have a paid gig. Blogging is where a lot of these guys get their start now. I mean this is really "punching down" if you will.

It is punching down... I did enjoy him saying how much time he spends on this for "us" and that he does it for free. It really isn't a service for us... you are trying to get a paid job at some point. If he is really spending this much time unpaid he needs to re-evaluate his career choices. I can work on the practice range for 60 hrs. a week, but at some point I need to get paid and be a pro or admit this is a hobby I'm not nearly as good at as the guys who get checks.

My wife pulls down more than $1000 a month mommy blogging a couple of times per week, but she is fully awesome. Is there anyone that would actually pay money for what this dude is doing? Hell, even the best of the best at Grantland got shut down. Whey would this Dowsett dude think he has a future? Go where the money is and advertisers are. . .

I guess that's not really the point here. Does your wife beat up on people who blog for free?

As you pointed out, he's trying to break into an industry that is really difficult to make it in. He doesn't need a multi-millionaire athlete making it any harder.

Right but the guy also committed a pretty bad party foul... Can't see something that looks like locker room chatter and report it as them mocking the Jazz unless you are damned sure that is what was going on... like 100%. Sadly this is the most attention the guy likely ever gets. If you believe any attention is good then they may have done him a favor by recognizing him. It's either the start or end of his career (or I guess hobby).

This thread is a lot about nothing. I'm willing to bet anyone here with at least a thousand posts has sounded like him once or twice and anyone here with at least 200 posts has sounded like Dray. This is a yawn fest... For me anyways. All of us has been exposed not in our best moment. To me that's all this is.

This is precisely WHY it is so embarrassing. Whining about stuff like that is for message boards, not NBA-credentialed reporters. If Ben Dowsett wants to whine about the Jazz not getting respect after a loss, he should do so here. Not while wearing his "reporter" hat.

It's not like Draymond Green went out of his way, unprovoked. Dowsett brought this on himself. I don't even blame Draymond for calling out this level of bush-league journalism.

Don't disagree, still waste of a good thread

Even if Draymond blatantly dissed the Jazz in conversation with other teammates, why do we need to know about it? I can guarantee you Jazz players talk **** about their opponents, refs, and opposing fans all the time in the locker room. So what? If you ever played sports, you know what I'm talking about...I can't count how many times my HS football teammates and coaches would say stuff in the locker room about our opponents like "**** these guys, they're a bunch of *******, let's go kick their ***!..." And that's just the generic "G" rated stuff.

For Ben Dowsett to feel what he "allegedly" saw/heard by GS players was "newsworthy" tells me he's either extremely sheltered or extremely sensitive like a woman during that time of the month...

"Hard fought win to start the road trip,” Curry said in the postgame locker room. “It was a tough environment against a team that plays the style they do. It was a big win for us.

“We knew it would be a tough game coming in here," declared Green, who finished with 20 points, nine rebounds and seven assists. “That’s a very good basketball club and guys who have been together for about three or four years now. Some guys even more. We knew that it would be a tough game.

Yeah, I'm not really seeing the disrespect.

Whatever else might be said about Larsen or Dowsett atleast they have the courage to put their faces and names out there with the stuff they write. No one here does that, we all have our opinions but hide behind screen names and made up personas.

Apples to oranges. Unless some of you degenerates get media credentials for this *********.

Also, 50% of the content here seems to be posters trying to hold others accountable for their hot takes.

Case in point: the continual bumping of the "Can the Alec Burks experiment please end?" thread.
