I used to be a huge Bond fan.
I was most disappointed by the Brosnan films. I think he could have been the best Bond, but I agree the screenplay was simply horrible. Dalton was a joke in his movies.

And Roger Moore was simply filler in between the gadgetry and T&A. But not listing "View to a Kill?" Wasn't that the one in which he bedded the beautiful Grace Jones? "For Your Eyes Only" is on my list simply because of Carole Bouquet. I was so in love with her. Gorgeous woman in a bikini, secluded cove, what more can you want?

Connery was definitely the best Bond. And his movies, for the most part, relied more heavily on acting and plot. Tough for me to pick a favorite. I once had all the Bond movies on an external HD and was going to do a Bond marathon, but alas, the HD failed and I lost 200+ movies. I'll pick Thunderball for the underwater scenes.

I've never watched a Bond movie. But I'm sure I will watch the last one because they shoot it in Turkey.

Always a fan of The Spy Who Loved Me. Yes, that is a Moore film, but it's the one I may like the most.
Agree with this one. Had the best opening sequence. Had the best Bond car. Introduced Jaws, who was the only henchmen to reprise in a later film. The Bond girls were Barbara Bach and Caroline Munro.
