If you look at the media outlets represented by the "big 6" you can see that they are overwhelmingly liberal. When you have an audience that starts at a young age watching this type of broadcasting as "entertainment" it's no wonder that they end up being a little left of loony as they grow up. I've said it before but it bears repeating... today's youth and the majority voting block of young adults have been indoctrinated into thinking they are open minded and progressive when in reality you have been brainwashed. This should piss you off and cause you to rethink your beliefs.
The less choices we have the worse our culture becomes. Giant corporations have, and continue to kill our culture.
Democrats, and Republicans have both had their hands in deregulation, and both share the blame.
Thanks to giant corporations there's less creativity, and less taking chances. This is killing our music, movies, and ****ing souls.
I feel sorry for our kids. Our parents got the 60s, and some of us had the early 90s. Although the 90s alternative movement was short lived,
it was real, and powerful. I'm glad I got to experience it. I hope someone new comes, and shakes up things. No more (or less sequels), remakes, nickleback, and Maroon 5.

GE is not liberal....
yes MSNBC is but MSNBC is a small part of GE,
and frankly , it doesn't look to me like much resources have been put into it ....
right wing radio and tv and print, on the other hand ,
I think has the backing of a lot of billionaires intent on brainwashing simple minded people to support billionaires
I do what I can.
Was this your oops moment or are you just coming out?
On Wednesday, reporters were caught on an open microphone coordinating questions in order to build an anti-Romney narrative with one reporter apparently saying that “no matter who he calls on we’re covered on the one question," the Right Scoop reported. The audio was captured before Romney gave a statement regarding the embassy attacks in Cairo and Libya.
....Newsbusters' Tim Graham identified them as CBS reporter Jan Crawford and NPR’s Ari Shapiro.
They all sound the same because they coordinate questions.
What advantage would there be to GE to promote liberal politics? Do you see Universal Picture or Focus Features as liberal? Is NBC liberal overall, or just that component? Using one small property as a respresentative to the network seems iffy.
GE has a large amount of money invested in the green technology movement. What better way to convince the populace that we need to utilize green technology en masse than running stories and making movies about dying polar bears, melting ice caps and rising sea levels? All of GE's media outlets help drive business for GE.
GE has a much greater stake stake in the standard technology driving appliances, etc. I don't see them choosing only to focus on the green stuff for a profit motive.
The populace already uses standard technology. You don't need paradigm shift to grow standard technology.
However, green technology endangers the profits of standard technology.
How else will they make sure the questions they think are important get asked?
