Not only that, but if the kid was on top of him when he shot him, there should probably be some noticeable blood on his clothes.

Also, he doesn't look like the kind of fat slob that would get beat within an inch of his life by a kid who was 100 pounds lighter.
 
Wait, wait, wait... Before I clicked the link I was like, "Well, this pretty much blows a hole in Zimmerman, maybe I might change my mind..." And then I watched this AMAZING video. To be totally honest, the only AMAZING thing about this video is the fact that it doesn't even come close to proving a single damn thing that you morons are implying. Not a single mother f'ing thing. I could go on and on about how a grainy surveillance video that, at the very best, has about a 4 second shot of the perp from 10 feet away, but why bother?

That is a picture of a SEVERELY broken nose after a UFC fight. Keep in mind that his corner man and/or the doctors at ringside had approx 5 minutes to clean it up. Also keep in mind that Zimmerman was given medical attention at the scene, which means they cleaned his freaking face. Morons. Stand 10 feet away from this guy and take a snapshot or video with your phone and tell me that you'd be able to determine if his nose was broken or not. Good luck with that. Morons. Another thing, Morons, Zimmerman is wearing a fleece jacket (which happens to have a lot of red on it, but let's not get into anything that would hurt your "OMG, THERE'S NO BLOOD ON HIS JACKETSES!!!1 FILTHY HOBBITSES!!!1" mantra) -- but how sure are you that he was wearing it when he was assaulted? Oh, you're not sure? Who cares, right? LYNCH HIM! Nevermind the fact that if he wasn't wearing the jacket when he was assaulted, there could very well be blood on the shirt he's wearing -- I mean, you can only see 20% of that shirt under the jacket, but who cares, right Morons? LYNCH HIM!!! Ever had a broken nose, or been thocked in the schnoz? I have. It does bleed like a mother f'er, but if you've ever had a bloody nose, then you know you don't wipe it off on your chest. You wipe it off on your arm, or... wait for it, your sleeve. Grainy, at best? Are you blind? Does your computer suck? Did you even watch the last minute? Do you have any clue what 10 feet is? There's a shot of his face with nose clear as day. It's not caved in like the picture you showed, and the portion of his shirt that is open is, gasp, under his f'ing nose! Blood tends to drop down and hit the area directly below it, as anyone who's ever had a nosebleed can attest to. Another curious thing, if this was a broken nose he got treatment for, where is the split for it?

Your argument wouldn't lead to a conviction. Mine would lead to an acquittal. I win, you lose. Also, feel free to actually read the post. I didn't say it was grainy at best, and the picture I posted was just about the most severe broken nose I've ever seen. It was meant to show the far end of the spectrum. You missed the point, clearly. But ya, weed is awesome.
 
I never said it would lead to a conviction. In fact, I've stated that I don't believe there is enough evidence to charge him. But if the guy sustained a broken nose and that video was posted after the fact, I do believe it could persuade a jury into thinking he was lying. A broken nose doesn't just clear up like that. However, it could be his lawyer who stated he had the broken nose had no idea what he was talking about and maybe he really didn't suffer that injury. And I'm sure there could be a thousand other outcomes as well, all I know is that if he really had a broken nose either he had the lightest nose break I've ever seen or something is very wrong if that video was taken after the fight, even with treatment.

I did read the post. I would never reread it. It sucked frankly. You don't have much of an argument, all you really has is "BLAH BLAH BLAH YOU F'ING MORONS" where you say some irrelevant point and use it to justify the little tantrum you're throwing. It's pretty sad to be honest. Not sure why you're getting so emotional, but hey, to each their own. Maybe you should get a pint of Hagen Daz and watch a Lifetime movie so you can let it all out. I feel bad for you man, please, just stop the tears, it's painful to see a grown man cry out of rage and anger for something that doesn't really directly relate to you. And your point about the picture sucked. For one thing the video shows Zimmerman's face about 5 feet or so from the camera (I doubt the camera to the wall is 10 feet) at about the 1:27 mark, and his nose is clearly not caved in. If that picture of the UFC guy would have been profiled at that distance, there would have been a slope on his nose.

And really, you have to bring up the pothead thing? Is that the best you got? I mean, I know you were too stupid to get a college degree and all, though even a dumb lazy stoner like me managed to attain one, but even lame high schoolers don't have to resort to that. The lack of blood is not a good indicator whether or not you've caught one on the nose. Not everyone is a bleeder. I've had my nose smashed pretty damn hard and maybe get just a drop or two. I also remember watching Stock take an elbow to the nose from Kidd. Stock's nose sat at a right angle on his face to finish out the game but it never bled.

First off, the only "witness" supporting Zimmerman said he saw the guy in red on the bottom. Well the only thing red was Zimmerman's jacket. So that's how we know he had it on. If you actually knew what you were talking about, this would have been obvious to you.

Also, where is the blood from the gunshot? He was supposedly on his back, with the kid sitting on his chest when he shot him.

And let's not forget he was supposedly getting his head bashed into the concrete and it was bleeding. I don't see any cuts, bruises, or bandages in that video. And it would not be hard to see with a clean shaven head like his.

Then there is also the fact this dude is pretty built. He is not the fat slob you made him out to be. I doubt he'd get beat within an inch of his life by a kid who weighs 100 pounds less than him.

It's pretty clear in that video that things didn't go down the way Zimmerman claimed. Which is probably why he was in handcuffs, and the police wanted to actually arrest him and charge him.

I am honesty not sure if there is anything that could possibly change your mind. If you can totally disregard video proof, with the only counter arguments being everyone else is a bunch of morons and Nate smokes weed, then I'm not sure what would ever convince you.

Why is this even an issue that we're talking about? A simple look at emergency crew reports should tell us everything we need to know. Unless, of course, you think that the corruption of this case has made its way into the medical staff as well...

The fact is, that video shows someone who did not appear to have been in a serious fight.
However, even if there were some bruises or even a broken nose, that does not prove that there was a fight, or that he was losing the fight, or that the other guy even caused the damage, or that if there was a fight that Zimmerman didn't start it. What is clear is that no matter what happened, Zimmerman was awfully quite quick to resort to shooting. If he did allow himself to get hit, it was probably after provoking a confrontation, he was more focused on keeping his hands on his gun than to simply try to defend himself. I think he knew that the Florida Law allows you to provoke a fight and get away with murder. If he did murder someone, he probably would have scuffed himself up a bit knowing he would have to claim self-defense.

A simple bruise does not prove one's life is in danger. It takes practically nothing for a medical person to write that he treated a person for a bruises, if that is what happened. You defenders of Zim assume that the guy had blood over him but it was cleaned up. Do you have proof that this was a fact? How much blood? Two drops can look like a big mess. Why don't we see the blood or stains on his clothes?

If you are talking about the shadow on his head in that grainy photo, that is not proof, that is you being a a stupid hypocrite.
 
The cut on the back of the head makes sense, because the witness did say he saw Zimmerman on the bottom of the fight at one point.

Still makes me wonder. Did Trayvon really just attack Zimmerman for simply asking him what he was doing? That seems completely irrational. The kid might have not been an angel, but he certaintly wouldn't attack a stranger in an unfamiliar neighborhood, right?

Still makes more sense that Zimmerman somehow instigated the fight. Either by first making physical contact, flashing his gun, or making some kind of threat. Does one really have the right to fatal self-defense in those circumstances? If someone punches you, and you punch back, do they have the right to shoot you and claim self-defense? Obviously this is all speculation.

Another thing I have been thinking about is where did Zimmerman keep his gun. Where do most people keep concealed weapons? If he was on his back getting attacked, how would he pull his gun out and fire it without Travyon noticing? Or did he already have the gun out? Why couldn't he have shot Travyon in a non-fatal location? (I know, in the heat of the moment he probably wasn't thinking that rationally).
 
Anyone who has watched ultimate fighting knows that just because someone is on the ground, that does not necessarily mean they are losing a fight.
And those guys are not even fighting with guns.
 
People are holding awfully firm on their opinions despite the fact that there really isn't a whole lot of concrete evidence to support either side. An unarmed kid got shot by a half mexican. Who attacked who? Who said what? Everything else in between is hear say and assumption. If I was getting my head beat in and thought I might get killed I might possibly shoot in self defense. If I thought I was getting stalked by some creeper I might turn and fight him to defend myself. Nobody on here knows what really happened. I bet both made mistakes. ****ty situation for everyone involved.
