Here is a Bryce Cotton compilation with summer, D-league, and Jazz highlights. We should get to see him in summer league.

I think Cotton could be our Patty Mills. He can play. I really believe there is a spot for him in the NBA

@ 7:55 is the play we ran for the amazing alley-oop dunk being run for him while he was on his D-League team. I remember Quin saying that is where they got the idea for the play from.

It is a fact, that it took a shoulder injury to Kris Dunn, to hand over the duty of starting pg to Bryce Cotton in his senior year at Providence. Without that injury, Cotton would have been the 2 guard in his last year. He can shoot, he would have been good, but had that been the case, not only is he not drafted, but it's unlikely he's gotten this far even. He made himself a very effective pg because of an injury to a guy who just decided to not get drafted in the first round this year.
Both Cotton and Dunn were/are worked out by NYC legend God Shammgod. Cotton gives Shammgod a lot of credit. Providence fans are desperate for Shammgod to be hired full time to work out our guards and hopefully help recruit targeted guards. You know Shammgod gets a lot of nods as "best handle ever". Cotton's development was certainly not hurt by having Shammgod as a mentor.
