There is nothing I could be less excited for than watching Burks struggle to play smart basketball.

I saw lots of smart basketball plays in the video I posted. Many great unselfish assists, and good spacing by hitting the 3 ball. Some nice defensive plays too.

The guy sucks. Just accept it. Burks isnt the future, present, or even the past. He was a mistake draft pick and a mistake extension.

Ingles is bigger and stronger than Miles.

Yeah, I also think we need to focus on high IQ players w/ length (which is obvi what every team wants).

Alec was showing a lot of promise before his persistent injury syndrome. I still have an issue with him being able to dominate mainly off ball and only in uptempo and transition ball. If IF he can stay healthy and finally develop an iso game then he will be a pretty solid player.

I've lost a bit of hope for Hood, but I think those two have plenty of upside still IF they can stay healthy. Either one could replace Hayward in a dream scenario. While rambling, glad Lyles is gone and wish Favors the best of health luck. I really like that guy but he looks MLE now.

I just think Ingles is so good guarding threes and twos that I'd want him there. If he is guarding a power wing he will do fine. I'd rather roll with another big wing out there with him than playing Hood at SF. Just think we should use him at what he is good at.

Nah, he is just entering his prime, has been learning from the bench and in practice and film sessions, has matured, has improved his outside shot and rebounding, is getting an opportunity for playing time with Haywood leaving, is extremely hungry for court time, and the jazz should play with more tempo next season which will utilize burks better than before. Quin will continue to work with him. The redemption will be glorious.

Another poster suggested two players I found intriguing: Mario Hezonja and Stanley Johnson. Both are "bust" by current consensus, but are big wings who have talent and athletic ability. Maybe they could thrive in Utah's system?

3.1 and 3.3 are... he plays 20 minutes a night... just threw an example out... I'd rather have another bigger wing out there. Hood, Ingles, Miles has a better chance to work than Mitchell, Hood, Ingles... who is guarding the 4 in that scenario?

If it's Hood that likely doesn't work... if it's Ingles you've just potentially taken him away from guarding the best perimeter player which is one of his best attributes.

I think everyone is different and I think multiple injuries make you age in dog years.
