Part hunch, part Durant gets to the foul line 88 times per game. No Marvin means Haywierd will play most his time at the 3 racking up fouls along with Carroll. Burks will have to back up Foye at the 2.
 
Oh yes, Marvin's injury. Well, if Burks wants to show his middle finger to Corbin, now it's the time.
 
OKC is very athletic, and with Marvin out we could use an athletic wing defender. It'd be great if Burks got more minutes so he'd be ready for a moment like this

Or they start mo at the 1 and after about 5 minutes they bring in tinsley or watson and move mo to the 2 and basically just use a combination of Mo, tinsley, watson, foye and hayward at the 1 and the 2 and keep burks on the bench.

I actually believe that burks will get to play tonight, but i would'nt be shocked if he didn't.

Haha Foggy, I almost hope Burks gets the bench just to read your rants tomorrow. :) Honestly though I'd be right there with you if Mo plays the 2. Do you think Corbin is so dumb he'd put Mo on Thabo/KMart2 while Tinsley gets scorched by Westbrook?

2 is up in the air depends on who decides to show up.
i honestly and truly belive utah has a chance. u think we match up better here then we do when we play SAS.

No i dont think corbin will actually play mo at the 2 (like i said in my original post), i just would'nt be shocked if he did. (also, like i said in my original post)

Also frank, im not sure if you have noticed or not but you have got your wish and i have not been posting as much lately.

I was pissed at the lack of playing time for the young guys, but now im getting to the point where i just dont really care as much anymore. So that should make you happy :)
 
Burks should change his name, and have facial surgery. Go play in Europe one year, and come back as a camp try out. Make the team,
and play major mins over our GSW lotto pick.
 
i like burks but maybe there's an outside chance he just sucks? there have been countless guys who have had the physical talent but never could be consistent or get things straight between the ears for the NBA. i remember when scouts were saying gerald green was gonna be the next great SG.

Yes there is a chance that he sucks.... he is young and unknown and that is the problem with not playing him. I want him to get regular playing time in the rotation and then we can begin to find out if he sucks or just how good he can be.

If kanter, favors, and hayward all only had the same amount of opportunities to show us what they could do then we might be wondering if they "suck" as well.

Did anyone notice when Burks swished his 3 ball yesterday Corbin was clapping like an excited seal on the sidelines?
It felt odd.

Part of me wants to believe Corbin wants Burks to play, but it's impossible to be hopeful with so many DNPs in a row.

I'd love to know more about the Corbin Burks relationship.

Burks was good tonight. Maybe we'll only have to wait 5 games before he plays again instead of 9?
