Burks - what is his MAX we can offer ?

I do agree that i post about burks too often though.
I just dont think the content of my posts is unreasonable

You might have a good point. Im not as familiar with how hayward and burks teams used them in college. I simply looked up the stats.

I have never said burks is an elite passer or has elite vision and i think exum will be a much better passer than burks and hayward is currently the better passer of the two. (Though not by alot)

Let me know when you find that post of mine where im being unreasonable with my praise of burks though.
I will be waiting

That's the thing though - you used college stats to back up the Burks claim just for the sake of backing your claim with stats without consideration as to how they actually played in College. If I were to tell you that Burks played predominantly the PG position at Colorado then 2.9 assists per game is actually very low indeed.

For what it's worth I don't think Burks' passing ability is 'just fine'. I actually think it's below average for a combo guard (or even a SG). He has never made a pass that made me go 'Wow' that was nice. All I seem to see is him attacking the basket all alone by himself. If he is able to make an extra pass off of those drives regularly, he would be a much more complete player IMO.

That is incorrect. I didnt use college stats for any purpose.
I just threw it out there in its own post, seperate from any context, and put fwiw at the beginning (meaning i might mean something and it might mean nothing, but here are the stats)

Go to you tube. Look up burks sophmore year highlight mix. Watch for a long (more than half court) bounce pass through defenders to cj miles for the dunk.

Also has a very nice pass to gobert in the recent gobert highlight video (the one in the gobert SL 2nd team vid)

But whatever.... im tiring of your drivel.

Just one more thing for ya though.

2.9 assists per game for a player that is scoring over 20 pts per game in college while playing 30 minutes a game when there are less possesions, due to 35 second shot clocks, is impressive regardless of the role he had at colorado.

Find me some more players that average 3 assists per game while scoring over 20 pts per game in college.

I dont think is all that common (though i could be wrong)

He's a 'scorer' for sure, nobody's denying that.

With Quin's new offensive system stressing the importance of passing and 3pt shooting though, we'll just have to wait and see how Burks' skill set fits in there.

No use arguing over it until we actually see him play.

I really hope we can keep Burks. He's probably my favorite player on the team. Dude moves like some kind of amphibious dolphin on the court. I think the Jazz offer him 4 yrs 32 mil and he says no, then next year some team offers 4/42mil and the Jazz match.

Kanter will not be in play for big $$$ due to injuries IMO.

Burks is.

What is the MAZ we can offer him ?

its
I know GH got 4/63.

We could have offered him 5 years before the Charlotte deal but opted not to.

So, comparing to Hayward, let's stay at 4 year.

What would be his 4 year MAX ?

it is just nonsense we keep burks while we have exum

burks is individually talented but not a good fit for our team i have been telling this since he is drafted

Exum breaths like he's in a gas chamber without a mask. Last season, Burks gets to the stripe like an All-star, he never hesitates on his drives or his jump-shots. He pretty much got by almost anyone he wanted, A lot like Exum. I wouldn't go off saying Exum is better than Burks. We still haven't seen much. I love Burks. for 2 gaurds I could think of maybe 3 NBA players I'd take over him?
