I think he covered that well enough by saying "...VERY small sample size and it's preseason."

If Burks Didn't git injured he would be a max player right now. Number one option.
 
Hey Jazzfanz, please keep in mind when we talk about the preseason games we're talking about the preseason games that the Jazz played. Okay? So the Suns and two non-NBA teams. Also keep in mind that the Jazz non-starters typically play against the other team's non-starters. Please consider that when reading posts about people's observations regarding player performance in the preseason. That way no one will need to take up unnecessary space covering what anyone reading this almost certainly already knows.
 
Burks looks comfortable. He's moving well. He's hitting his jumper. He's making passes off the dribble. Most importantly, he seems to have a better sense for making the right play. We know he can play against starters. If he draws attention from better defenders, that's all the better.

So I'll go ahead and say I'm pretty optimistic.
 
2 more preseason games. against suns and lakers..... well probably not the best teams to evaluate everything

I've been optimistic, too. But I think it's okay if I have allergic reactions to the over-leveraging of his preseason PER or some other ****. He's gonna get his chance now. That's cool.
