Bye Sap It Was Nice Knowing You

I wouldn't sign Millsap to anything more that 6 mil/yr for 3 years.

I don't really want him back. I think he is too entitled on this team.

This afternoon's DNews said Sap knows he won't be back and the team does too. It was kind of a sad ending last night for his last game in a Jazz uni.

Kanter and Favors should start ahead of Milsap. If Milsap wants to play hard off the bench, then maybe that's fine. However, I think Sap wants to get paid like a starter, whereas our back-up PF should be paid like a back-up--like in the $5 - $8 million range.

I think Sap was adequately compensated for his services. But now its time to move on. The Jazz gave him a shot by drafting him and he tried to improve every season. Jazz paid him when the pay day came. But the reality is, and I said this almost 3 or 4 seasons back, he is a bench player on a contending team. A tweener who cant log heavy starter mins at either the 3 or the 4, if you are really looking at making a deep run in the playoffs and not just get to the 8th spot. I wouldnt have minded at all if the Jazz had traded him much earlier, but they did'nt. But its time to really move on.
