Imagine this: as good as we are this year, our starting five all come back. We might lose Van **** to a mission but will add Chapman and Kuz.

We might win 30 games next year.
 
Ya, next years gonna be legit, but we might be ahead of schedule and make the tourney this year too.

Anybody know why byu isn't allowed past the Sweet 16?

Is it listed somewhere in the D&C's??

Yup. Section 78:69. "As long as BYU portrays it's school's athletics as representative of me, their basketball team shall be comprised of slow, unathletic, balding, prepubescent faced, ugly version of AK white men, who shall wax strong in the belief that their combined lack of talent would somehow create something magical, yet they shall suck year after year. The band of virgins will live in unbelief due to their weak schedule which shall cause them to lift their head and believe themselves to better than the school I founded through my prophet. Laughter shall be heard among the hallways of heaven."

Although the football rivalry officially ended this year the basketball rivalry unofficially ended about a decade ago. BYU has won like 50 straight. I don't think the Jimmer ever even came within 20 pts of losing to lil brother and he played them like 8-10 times!!!

BYU has more of a rivalry in Basketball with Utah St, San Diego St, St Mary's, and UVU than with Utah. Ever since that fat guy who liked that Kentucky girl retired, lil brother's basketball program has been a big bad joke. When was the last time lil brother did anything? Mike Doleac and that old nuggets PG were players? Wasn't Charles Barkley still playing and that def shrimp guy in Seattle? Seattle actually had a team back then!!!

It would do wonders for the interest of the general public if Utah made this a real rivalry again. I hate having to always go to California or Washington to play a good team in Basketball.

I love easy automatic wins but it sure would be nice if lil brother could beat big brother once every 1-2 decades in basketball to keep things interesting.

Jarron Collins is announcing tonights Utah game on the PAC12 network. Good for him...it sounds like Harpring gave him some pointers.
 
Amazing that this thread has already made it to 6x more pages than both of the subject teams have combined for titles.
