Just wait til conference play starts. You'll realize just how difficult a major conference like the pac-12 is. Don't get your hopes up to high.

Nice, I've watched all but a couple on tv. Have yet to make it to a game this year though. Its tough with a little one - have to plan a day game here soon and bring him along. It's just so nice to finally have athleticism, speed, a solid bench and a some stars on the team that are fun to watch. Krystko, Wright and Loveridge have really brought this team to a competitive level quickly. Utes!

You from here but went to school there I guess?

Utah undergrad then to Univ of Michigan for 3+ years for grad school. Had season tickets to basketball/football each year I was at Michigan and got season tickets to Utes football this past year now that I'm back.

I'm actually starting to feel bad for BYU fans. Utah has had terrible QB luck and our basketball team has been bad. But BYU? Riley Nelson and now Carlino? That has to be painful.

What did he do? I noticed they went to OT vs the Ducks, I am guessing he did something in the closing seconds of OT that was brain dead. Also wasn't he the U commit and decommited when Krisco was named the U's new HC.

I don't know where Green is going with the Nelson comparison, but basically BYU has jumped out big against every ranked team they've played this year(4 or 5 teams I believe so far), looked in control for 90% of the game, and then crumbled down the stretch. And Carlino is oftentimes the reason they jump out to the lead and the main reason they end up losing those leads because he goes brain dead when the game is on the line late or when BYU is hot he takes stupid shots and makes horrible plays and is seemingly always the one that gets them out of the flow. At worst, his bad/good play flux cancels out though. And BYU is really good when he puts together a full game. I think BYU's matador defense is probably the bigger issue. They all are terrified to commit fouls. They really need Bronson Kaufusi to start playing just to set the tone.....I don't if he is actually going to play this year or not though.
