Call for Andy Larsen and Ben Dowsett to Resign From Salt City Hoops

I'm confused.. Dude says something that is incorrect, and you are calling for his head? Why are you so offended?

Hawkeye you are obviously oblivious to the gravity of the situation, so I'm going to break it down for you.

1. Rodney Hood went to MSU before he went to Duke. It's the greatest university in America. It's not a junior college. **** Ben Dowsett and Andy Larsen.

Though we were just talking B-Ball knowledge. I do not claim perfect grammar.

Well I majored in English and this is absolutely unacceptable from an English speaking person. You, my friend, should be fired ... or banned!

I didn't major in English, that would suck.

Duke is pretty good, but I wouldn't call them the greatest university. Definitely a huge step up from MSU though. Smart move by Rodney to recognize a better opportunity when it came along.

Cy, Ben Dowsett has apologized. Would you ever forgive him?

Does the fact that I'm receiving forum calls for my firing from a blogger position mean I've made it? https://jazzfanz.com/showthread.php...nd-Ben-Dowsett-to-Resign-From-Salt-City-Hoops

Also, to be fair, I did err in saying "junior college" RE Rodney Hood on last night's broadcast, as I made a completely different point.

For which I apologize to those whose lives I've clearly ruined. Was in the moment and couldn't remember where he went before Duke. On me.

Even I don't think this is true.

Your interview questioning is far superior to everyone else's. Jody et al. throw softballs, while you're throwing corkscrews. Keep it up.

Side note, Jason: can we get Andy Larsen's twitter added to the Jazz Media feed? He puts out some really great information, certainly on par with Falk/T. Jones.

And since we're on the subject, can we get Ian Clark removed from the Jazz Player feed?

Also, I think Ben's primary journalistic shortcoming was in taking this forum thread by Cy seriously. Didn't do his background research on tongue-in-cheek.

Lost in all of Cy's crying and whining, is an interesting interview by coach Nick from bball breakdown about our team's offensive sets using Gobert. He suggested putting him in horns & more motion rather than just starting the possession with high pick and roll, etc.

He also raved quite a bit about Hood and saying that he has great shot & could be one of the best shooters in the league down the line. Rodney Hood's "Hop" also gets him really excited and how Hood does it so well.

That interview segment starts from about the 26 min. mark and it is worth a listen if you've got time.

Quin uses horns plenty. Coach Nick has a preoccupation with horns for some reason. It's a great set and I know Pop uses it a lot, but come on.

This song should play in the background every time Coach Nickkkk opens his mouth:

To be fair, that's actually what he said but added that the Jazz need to motion more which is something I've questioned about his seemingly odd offensive sets. There's often not a lot of options before going into pick and roll.
