Can the Trumpster fire come back from this?

It looked bad from that angle, but from another angle you can tell thats not how it went down at all. If anything his daughter was going in for some love and Trump wasnt paying attention. They arent as clse to each other as it looks from that angle.

GREAT find.

It's amazing what a different angle/perspective shows. Trump was clearly going over to shake the hand of the guy who was walking behind his daughter and wasn't even paying attention.

You're absolutely right. I've been had. There's no need to try and take cheap shots on Trump, as much as I like to. She seemed to be getting out of the way for the dude Trump was greeting. The GIF will make the rounds and actually have no bearing on reality. I was wondering if Trump had been as handsy and disgusting with Tiffany as he has been with Ivanka, and she wanted nothing to do with it. In the words of Alec Baldwin playing Trump, I apple-o-gize, Mr. Trump.

Agreed it will make the rounds. From that first angle it 100% looks like she's avoiding a kiss on the cheek

Called it.

So far 11 allegations have come out after the video emerged.

This is classic Clinton politics, nothing more. What, did no one expect this sort of thing. Hell, Hillary would do this to Mitt.

Most Trump supporters don't care, absolutely don't care. This is a binary election, and Hillary is the alternative, and the stink on the Clintons is even worse, really. Sure the media isn't gonna play it, but with a credibility/viewship in the toilet, it only leands credibility to Trump when the bias is so strong.

Hillary might win this election, that has always been the deal the Bigs have been aiming for, but at what cost? This election is only the beginning of the Battle For America, because until now there has been a marginal question about who's in charge, and people have assumed the best.

Hillary is such a bad choice, she is gonna ruin the Dem brand, and the Progressive brand, and the whole CFR system, including the globalist agenda. The plan was to take America down to a regular level of membership in the world community, and create a need for UN management to deal with civil unrest, BLM issues and such. Hillary is absolutely onboard with all that, but she is gonna give it all a bad taste for the vast majority of Americans.

Right now the Dems have a solid 45% voter base, with the hope of importing a huge number of future Dems though open borders/Amnesty/citizenship pathways and such. A lot of pundits are thinking this is the last gasp for the R side, and it might be for the RINO leadership for sure. But most people coming in will see things in a way that will demand an alternative to the Reservation System of dependency that the Dems/Progs/Fascists envision, and a new sort of populism will ensue. America will be reborn, and the old guard Progressive agenda will be in the tank.

Well, I thought some really smart folks with an eye to the long term would see all this, and turn to Trump. Trump does have some BIG supporters, just no one in the media yet, and no one in the CFR tank. Trump would probably join the CFR agenda anyway. As it is, the way he's being dealt with, he's gonna become a long term political conservative and a reliable supporter for Constitutional governance, as strong for it as Ted Cruz.

If the Dems win this election, they lose the war. That's the right price they'll pay for giving the nod to Hillary. It is just so absolutely unforgiveable. It's against every reason anyone ever had to be a Democrat. She is just so absolutely against the little people who believed the Dems are the people's champions. She is just that absolutely sold out to the Money.

How can you claim that a strongman authoritarian represents constitutional governance when so much of what Trump has talked about is completely unconstitutional? And he seems pretty oblivious to the constitution.

Puff, puff, pass, bro.

Do you know what "Constitution" means? Gosh, you even spelled it correctly. I'll give you an "A" for that.

I don't know "Trump", of course. I wonder if he's Hillary's best friend, or what, willing to pave her way to the Whitehouse with his show. But I don't think he really likes to be abused, maso-sadistically like it seems he's being dealt with by Hillary. I think she's losing his favor to the extent that she and Bill might not get any more donations from him, or invites to his plush digs. At one point I argued that he's obviously just there to split the Republicans, and that is what it looks like he's done, possibly irreversibly. Having done that for Hillary, he could have expected some big favors for his businesses for years to come.

I don't think Trump had a clue what the Constitution was when he announced his candidacy, but I have never seen him as a "strongman authoritarian" either. He's just a deal maker. But he likes to do well in his deals.

I will state for a fact, now that the evidence is there in the Wikileaked emails, that Hillary wanted to promote Trump to be the Republican nominee. She did all she could to undermine Rand Paul at the outset, and Ted Cruz later on, as people she wasn't sure she could beat. At the Utah Republican meetings where Ted Crus got about 70% of the votes, there were about 25% who were not even Republicans who showed up to vote for Trump, demanding to inspect the ballot slips to verify the count. These folks were clearly progressive operators responding to calls from Clinton campaign organizers. How do I know? Well, I didn't interrogate them, but I know what Republicans look like, and what political progressive trenchworkers look like. Little pony tail hairdos, thongs, and open shirts, doh.

It's in the emails. She asked people to go get the vote out for Trump to derail Cruz.

I'm just figuring Trump is anything but stupid, really. And he's seeing the system he's dealing with, and he's deciding on some things he's gonna do after this is over. Ted Cruz is one of the few who's standing up for him right now, and after all the rhetoric, Trump notices this stuff. Trump likes to win, but he also likes the people who work for him. And he's learning why something like the US Constitution is a protection against people like Hillary.

Hell, you might see the same truth, given eight years of Hillary.

I listened to all the horror stories during Obama's first campaign. Now I'm hearing them again.

Hard to take it seriously this time around.

I have a dumb poem to post.

Days
Days Passing
Waiting for them
Waiting for more days.
Wanting the old ones back
Wanting the old days
to pass again
Yet
They do
They do pass again

the poem makes the shape of a spade...my favorite part

Okay format didn't follow on phone

nice poem.

almost hopeful, imo.

things will keep on keepin' on.

One thing doesn't figure between you and Hillary. . . .guns. She says she'll come get 'em, though when she says that she's talkin' to that side of the room. She regularly speaks publicly according to opinion research results and may actually back away from doing stuff that isn't going to be OK with people. Well, at least, that's what she does on the campaign trail. Who knows what she'll do if she's elected.

Time to buy guns and ammo if you care to shoot a little.

I'm thinking of buying a 9mm rifle like the ones women can shoot easily because the 9mm ammo is easier to find than the .223. But then, I had some uncles and a brother who were top marksmen. My brother rode on the Navy ship as the designated shooter of mines and stuff. I think I'd like to get a good rifle for accurate shooting like that. Scopes and stuff. But with a bigger caliber.

The supreme court has already ruled that the 2nd amendment is an individual right and that it applies to personal defense. They aren't going to reverse themselves on that decision, in fact they won't even hear that case again. Opposing Hillary on gun rights grounds has nothing to do with reality. The things she cold do, if she can manage to do them at all, will be mostly inconsequential, imo.

And Hillary has said that the Supreme Court got that wrong, and has promised to appoint judges who will correct that error.

And I am absolutely certain this is her real aim, and not just some transitory talking point dedicated to securing more votes here and now.

Trump Stands

So the WikiLeaks, and other relevant good journalism, is really putting HIllary on the ropes. No way does Trump even look bad, even from a nitwit moralist perspective, standking next to Hillary.

One of Hillary's long-time aides has released a whole boatload of personal history on Hillary that shows the sort of person she is.

Mark Levin's radio show today noted that Trump has announced a policy in favor of term limits for Congress, designed to break up the little imperial kingdoms of lifetime senators like Hatch and Reid, and other "establishment" functionaries who consistently disregard their people in support of elitist management.

I think Trump will do the same with lifetime federal beauacracy types as well.

Get ready for some freedom, folks.

Trump doesn't need to focus on Hillary's corruption, and I think he will focus more on the changes we need to make to restore our government to something that we want. Something that will permit us to solve our problems and prosper.

The CFR..... my code-term for elitist management of an essentially fascist character. . ., and Hillary as a dutiful implementer of that management, is going to be the loser in this election, if Trump gets the vote.

Trump is taking all the right stands for human liberty.

I've often referred to the age we live in as the Age of Conspiracy Theories. At the level of popular culture, conspiracy thought is endemic. What Donald Trump is doing is maximizing this trend to create an alternative political reality with it's foundation in the Rigged Election Conspiracy Theory. Millions of Americans do and will continue to live in this alternate reality. A political movement rooted in, and launched from, conspiracy thought. An alternate interpretation of current events rooted in conspiracy thought. An irrational political movement. Perhaps a new media empire where Alex Jones, Brietbart News, and the Drudge Report can contribute to establishing a fantasy reality, home of the uneducated.

Donald Trump isn't going anywhere. There has always been a plan B. A far right media empire that will make Fox News look liberal:

https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2016/10/17/13304110/trump-tv-jared-kushner

https://www.commondreams.org/views/...oger-ailes-cooking-post-election-media-empire

This may be the best summary I have come across yet describing the various elements of the Trump coalition:

Trump the Arsonist.
Evangelicals, Survivalists, the Alt-Right, and Hurricane Donald:

https://www.tomdispatch.com/post/176197/tomgram:_john_feffer,_slouching_toward_the_apocalypse/

"Next month's election is important. But the core supporters of Donald Trump are not going to move to Canada -- or Russia -- if their candidate loses. Those who crave the simplistic, authoritarian solutions offered by dangerous populists around the world are not going to retreat into political apathy simply because of the scorn heaped upon them by the mainstream. The apocalyptic rhetoric of Trump and his followers is a self-fulfilling prophecy. The gale-force winds of this populist hurricane have been intensified by decades of polarizing economic and social policies. Whatever happens in November, the forecast is for more stormy weather ahead."

Nope, he isn't going anywhere. He has only just begun to damage American democracy....

Encouraging people to embrace a fantasy-based conspiracy interpretation of current events and recent history is the very opposite of taking a stand for human liberty. Rather, it encourages people to imprison their minds in an irrational fantasy. Divorcing people from reality can hardly be viewed as liberating in any way.

Again, I do recommend reading the "Trump the Arsonist" link above. I believe it is a more realistic assessment of what Trumpism represents. The expansion of human liberty? How can that be possible when it is rooted in irrational, fantasy-based conspiracy theory??

Interesting article! I'm really confident that few Trump supporters have read many articles like this. I particularly liked the author's point about biblical and Alt-right language. It would be fascinating to analyze Trump's speeches chronologically, if his rise to power were not so terrifying.

Recently I've noticed a lot more blatant Christian imagery in his talks, and he has been using a teleprompter a lot more. He spoke of how he takes all of the "slings and arrows" for his supporters and "it will not be hell" but rather "it will be heaven." This is no doubt representative of Kellyanne Conway's influence and the other members of the Smear Clinton Club. I also buy the point about Trump as a Messiah figure, or at least a precursor-to-the-Messiah figure. It's a lot easier to accomplish this effect with a demagogue.

In regards to you two, I have to say that the majority of Evangelicals do not support Trump. There's a few here and there, including some that I know, but the vast majority does not approve of Trump. I think there's a bit of hyperbole with that take.

Did you know that the Supreme Court doesn't just revisit it's previous rulings?
