burke will be a starter in nba and jimmer will not. alex got game
Oh and apparently ESPN thinks Burks is high on the Jazz's list. They show the Jazz taking Burks in the scenario where the Jazz fall to #8. In that scenario, ESPN shows the Jazz taking Burks over Biyombo.
What about Biyombo's height (or lack thereof). I thought I saw him listed at something like 6'7" without shoes. Is that concerning at all?
Would a fair comparison of Hamilton be Young (from the Grizz)? A tough athletic wing that does a lot really good but nothing great?
Personally, I think Knight is probably going to be gone by #6. And the Jazz really need to improve that interior defense and outside shooting. Perhaps they go big at 6? I think if Knight is gone, the Jazz almost have to go big.
Am I the only Jazz fan who would depressed if they take Vesely or Valanciunas @6?
That would be a dream draft, so if they could get either guy I would be happy. They would be hugely lucky if Knight was available at 6 and Burks at 12. Knight is probably a 4-5 pick and Burks is 8-10. Maybe the balls will be sucked up in the Jazz's favor during the Draft Lottery.
I only question these picks after what G Miller said about getting bigger and better shooting in the draft. This does neither.
How special was Knight at running the point this year, frosh or not?
Also, he sort of reminds me of a more athletic, but less skilled (point skills, not shooting) Mike Conley. Not sure if i'm crazy about that. Maybe I'm just judging him based on his body.
Ok agree somewhat but seeing as who will be left at #6 - I don't think Kanter (best big imho) or Williams (best shooter imho) will be there. Biyombo is big but not THAT big. Jimmer's a shooter but is he worth #6?
I wouldn't say Knight can shoot lights out but he can, and so can Burks.
Who would you pick with what's left at #6 fitting the big and can shoot bill?

I don't think Miller meant he wanted to see us draft Memo (big and can shoot), but I think if we draft someone who is not an outside shooter, he wants him to be a true big, and if we draft someone who is not big, he needs to improve our shooting.
I am just not that high on this draft. I would rather see us trade out of it and try to trade into the next draft and maybe pick up some nice pieces along the way. No one in this draft screams franchise player to me really, and I think if we have the chance to draft that high, then we need to be in a draft that might have players like that.
