Chris Paul

Reportedly wants out of New Orleans.
Ideally wants to be traded to the Lakers, Magic or Knicks.

"Chris Paul, according to Ken Berger of CBS, hopes to have played his last game for the Hornets and has set into motion a plan to be traded by the start of the upcoming season.
His teams of choice are said to be the Knicks, Lakers and Magic, and people close to him have said he has played his last game for the Hornets. A trade to the Lakers would be disastrous for Paul's fantasy value, while a move to the Magic is probably not ideal, either. But if Paul could land in New York this fall, he oould have one of the biggest fantasy seasons we've ever seen from a point guard. Paul recently signed with LeBron James' marketing company, LRMR, which also fuels speculation that he will fight his way out of New Orleans, despite having two years left on his contract. Stay tuned.

CP3 is such a baby. "Wahawahah, you fired my favorite coach Byron Scott, wahahahahhahhahahahwwhahhah, trade me, I can beat Dwill without a loaded team, wahahwhahhhwahhwhahawh"

If I was the Hornets I would trade Chris Paul to a pathetic team, someone like the Raptors, and tell him to go **** himself.

One thing I will say: If the story is true and Chris Paul is pushing for a trade he's an idiot for not communicating the desire three weeks ago when more teams had cap room. The trade market is a lot less liquid now than it was previously.

I actually think New Orleans has done a decent job of trying to surround him with talent. Magic and Lakers obviously are not happening and they would have to part with significant pieces anyway. New York is not a forward move from New Orleans from an on the court standpoint. Chirs is a *****.

If he goes to NYC, they are no better than the Phoenix Suns, actually much worse, because the rest of the roster isnt close to the Dantoni era-Suns. Then the new CBA will happen, and its not even guaranteed they will be able to get a 3rd "star". The Hornets have done pretty good the last couple of years, they signed some crappy contracts, which have really screwed them over, but once those pass, they can start competing again. They have drafted great the last two years, CPee3 is just a whiny **** "superstar".

Yeah, this seems very odd to me.

I bet this isn't the whole story, though. I can't believe right off hand that Paul would be that kind of whiny.

Once players start "demandin" trades, ya know they losers, I figure. At this rate Chrissy-girl is gunna end up like A.I.--bein shuttled from team to team, couple of times a year.

Christina wants to play with Deron

According to a source with knowledge of his plan, Chris Paul has requested that the Hornets trade him to the Knicks, Magic or Lakers before the season begins.

"He wants out," the source told Ken Berger of CBS Sports. "He wants to play with another superstar. He wants to follow LeBron's model of teaming up with other great players."

NBA sources say that members of Paul's camp told them recently, "He's not going to start the season in New Orleans."

The Hornets will try to persuade Paul to remain based on the team's new direction.

"Paul won't go public with his trade request -- if he did, he'd be subject to a fine under NBA rules -- but those with knowledge of his plans believe his desire to pair up with another superstar (or two) has gained too much momentum to stop," writes Berger.

The Knicks are preparing to make an attractive offer to acquire a superstar talent via trade.

"According to sources familiar with the Knicks' strategy," writes Berger, "part of the reason for orchestrating the sign-and-trade for David Lee -- which yielded young talents Anthony Randolph and Kelenna Azubuike from Golden State -- was to stock the roster with attractive assets that could be used to acquire such marquee players if the opportunities presented themselves."

1. This was already posted in the general NBA forum

2. Nowhere in this article is there any reference whatsoever about D-Will or any other "Deron"

Williams is not even mentioned, and this bears no relationship to the Jazz whatsoever. Drama queen.

The thread police is here! Run!

Could referrin to Deron, know what I'm sayin?

Dwill would never want to play with Chris Paul. He was ok with it during teh Olympics, but not in the NBA, Dwill has morals.

The only two "Superstars" I would want with Dwill would be Durant or Carmello, obviously I would want Durant first, but I wouldnt mind Carmello.

Well, sho, Rex, kinda goes without no kinda sayin, don't it? But that don't mean that Chrissy, she wouldn't like to play with Deron, eh? I bet she done tried already, matter of fact.

Red rep for you mister. Only if it was true that would be a hella back court

Any news on the potential move deron would support fully that some one reported a couple days ago from a friend that talked to him?
