Conference Finals

Did u watch the play or not. James has easy pass on the off chance Hobert could actually block that.

No one cares about responsibility anymore or what? Lets blame Vogel when it was clearly George's brain fart.

You had to take the ball out of LeBron's hands. This isn't about Hibbert playing or not playing. That doesn't matter. Don't let LeBron James receive the ball, take two steps, and lay it in. That's the most obvious thing you need to stop. Jumpers, fadeaways, any shots by people name Norris Cole are preferable to a LeBron layup.

Sounds like you have it all figured out, keep ball away from James. I'd hire you in a New York minute, son. Don't know why these nba coaches are all about. You'd think for eight million dollars a year they'd already have it figured out.

I have to give serious props to Lebron after listening to his post game press conference last night. He handled that as professional as can be! Took the blame, expressed himself clearly and concisely, knew exactly what happened without making excuses or stuttering!

...it's unthinkable and inexcusable for George to let Lebron get past him that easily under those circumstances! You MUST keep the man in front of you, even if they allow traveling, palming, steps, carrying the ball, etc.etc.etc! I know that's easier said than done but the WHOLE game James was driving to the basket completely unimpeded for easy layups even in the halfcourt setting! How does that happen? I'm at a loss for words! James is big and strong, but not as quick as say Westbrook who gets to the basket at will. Just bad defense....and yes, Hibert should have been in the game.

If you watch closely James pushed him away on the way out from the basket, so he was already out of position when James caught the ball and turned toward the basket to drive. He pushed him off with the full arm extended, but the ref was to intimidated to call it.

A superstar pushing a player away to get a shot off and the ref not calling a foul. I'm shocked! Why if LeBron were anywhere near the caliber of Michael Jordan he wouldn't have needed a gift from an official. Oh wait...

....I'm sure you noticed how differently the Pacers played the last 30 seconds last night! Gave Lebron all the room he wanted to get the inbound pass....some 40 feet away from the basket! Then the defender gave him a wide birth to keep Lebron in front of him, forcing James to either pull up for a jumper or still try and drive by the defender, which he was unable to do! The Pacers keep those turnovers down to stop the Heat running game.....and pound that ball inside to there big guys....they are going to put an end to this "3, 4, 5, 6, 7 championships" foolishness right in it's tracks!

Can't tell you how much I would love that, but I think it's a little early to call this one.

That elbow to the head by Wade looks like a flagrant 2 to me, maybe a 1 game suspension. Guys on tv said he was trying to get his arms over, but you don't do that by leading with an elbow.

.....I thought so, too! But Sterns and his puppets will do all they can to advance Wade and Lebron for ratings purposes, which is to say for the biggest pay day possible for them and the owners! Right now I'll give credit to refs for calling it pretty good. That 3 shot foul call on Wade was mind boggling, especially since the game was played in Miami! He did foul George, but they didn't have to call that one for sure.

Miami got plenty of calls their way. Battier alone got away a bunch of dirty plays in game one. Wade and LeBron push off a lot, and they all flop, even Birdman flops now.

....very poor Pacer defense tonight I thought. Didn't close on shooters, didn't stay in front of there man, and didn't make the Heat work for there shots, they just gave them to them! Pacer offensive wasn't much better. Didn't post Hibert low enough, didn't set up any offensive screens or plays and that resulted in some pathetically forced shots with no time left on the shot clock! But I still have my ace in the hole! The Spurs! They won't be so easy to score on and the Heat will have much more difficulty defending a team with brains!

Heat vs Spurs is going to be awesome.

Most of the Heat flops caused a change in possession, which is way important than just free throws.
Good use of statistics there Spycam to support a belief unjustified by actually watching the games.
Just because Indiana got more free throws does not prove that the Heat did not flop more , foul more, and get away with more dirty plays.
or that the refs didn't help them win.

I can't for the life of me, figure out why the Heat are so tough to beat? Ok, they've got Lebron who is the most athletic player in the league....but he does have weaknesses. Wade is semi-worn out, and Bosch would get destroyed by Karl Malone in his prime! There bench is weak, they have no real inside presence and as much as I like Battier, he's so hot and cold with his shot that he's virtually a non-factor most of the time! The league is just weak, very weak! The Heat really have no "system" whatsoever to get anybody open, yet seem to always shoot a high percentage for the game! I guess it all boils down to who can "palm" the ball and travel the best, to "create" there own shots! If you watch Lebron back down his man in the post or the paint, he picks up his dribble about 3 times before he shoots! It's pathetic basketball to watch, if you ask me! Thank goodness the Spurs are still in there!
