I've had it with Greg Miller. It's obviously his doing that he found some bum *** coach he could pay in dirt to keep more money in his grubby little spoiled pockets. Retaining Corbin - who showed he was incapable as a decision maker from the start and has repeatedly proven to be as such the last two seasons - is a clear message to the Jazz fan base that putting a high-level product out on the court is no longer at the top of the priority list.

I understand the Jazz have to deal with money constraints that many big market teams don't, but Larry knew how to find a balance. Greg the scum wasn't paying attention, as the wheels feel off the Jazz proverbial train shortly after Larry passed away.

I'm calling for a statewide boycott of attending Jazz games until Corbin is fired. Sure, watch them on TV. Just don't go to the games. And if you do - don't buy any concessions.

Lets show Greg the ******* prick his apathy for sports isn't shared by those who made him so rich to begin with. Once he loses some money perhaps he'll invest a little more into having people who, at least, know what the **** they're doing when it comes to making basketball decisions.

The biggest basketball problem the Jazz face right now is no point guard on the team. At least not one who's capable of being the starter on a playoff/championship contending team. So that must be addressed in the off-season. No matter who is our coach, we won't win **** without one.

Having said that, I'd say 15 of our losses this year were winnable games with who we had on the court but were directly lost because of Corbin's idiocy. Whether it's his mind-boggling rotation decisions, in game-adjustments or use of timeouts, Corbin has shown no improvement in his two awful years at the helm. I doubt he was even a useful assistant coach. I'm sure he's a helluva guy, great father and great friend. But he sucks as a basketball coach for the Utah Jazz.

I've said it from the start, and was barked at to calm down and "give him time" despite everyone now coming around to see what I was saying then was 100% accurate, but I've refused to settle down. I will not watch my beloved team go down in flames without voicing my displeasure!

Get lost Corbin, and get bit Greg you spoiled rotten little punk!!!!! The Jazz won't see another penny from me until both those clowns are done making decisions w/ OUR money.

If they aren't, I hope Hayward, Favors, Kanter and Burks all get the heck out of town at their first opportunity. All four deserve a chance to reach their full potential and be a part of a winning team. I hope they get to experience it. As things stand now in Utah, they never will.
 
I'm pleased with the product the Miller family has continued to put out since LHM passed. He's done a good job.

Did he? I don't pretend to know the inner-workings of the Jazz management and front office. Obviously my post is based on irrational irritated fan lunacy, but that isn't to say it's without merit. The bottom line is that the Jazz have been nothing more than mediocre since Corbin was hired.

Before I make my uninformed, clearly bias speculation about what it was Sloan knew we had in Corbin, I'd be curious to hear how you would explain it specifically.

Not so much mad as frustrated by a sports team I root for. Couple that with boredom during a lazy couple hours in my day, and that's what you get. It's always fun to put verbal vomit on a public internet forum. Does that make me immature? Perhaps. Mad? Nope.
 
As much as I've criticized Corbin, he's not nearly as bad as the OP painted him. He seems to have some prejudices about playing vets, especially at crunch time, instead of playing the more talented players. I also think he needs a lot of work on his game management.
 
To be fair t o Corbin, KOC put him in a tuff spot with this roster. He has essentially put pressure on him to play the vets who actually are inferior players. Paul or Al should have been moved a long time ago. KOC also should have done a better job with the pg situation.

But of course no one here will admit it because it is taboo to insult KOC the Jazz god.

Because, what is Corbin supposed to do, bench Al and Paul, and only play them the minutes Kanter and Favors get? Corbin has to worry about people being happy too.

I know for a fact they discuss the issues as a group (Corbin and management). They talk about it all the time in the interviews. Our radio guys constantly ask KOC and Lindsey questions about playing time. In fact, it sounds like they make more of the decision about who gets the most playing time. Especially since Corbin is a new coach and the roster is in flux right now. There is more at work here than you think. Its about keeping players happy, trying out players, and giving management an idea on what to do next year. Dont you think KOC wants to see some of his trades given enough time to see how they worked out? It isn't as easy as people think to just bench Al or whoever else. No way could Corbin just have decided to not play all those vets hardly at all this year.

Then there is the whole win now pressure that is put on him and trying to do things the old Jerry way. Everything has been about trying to keep the Jerry tradition alive. Thats why they hired Corbin. Thats why we still try to run the same offense. They want him to do it just like Jerry, and Jerry was always a vets guy. That just puts a lot of pressure on Corbin to do it all that way. . Do you really think management has no say in any of this? Very very unlikely. To disagree would just show ignorance on how basketball organizations are really ran, especially this one. Management just doesn't get the players then get out of the way. Maybe they try to stay out of the way if they can, but they do stay involved. Back in the day Jerry often did things his way, but its a new day. Corbin hasn't earned them stripes yet. Most teams are ran like this. Players make demands all the time about playing time and the GM has to have a talk with the coach. Players gets promises about playing time when they sign contracts. On and on.

To anyone who disagrees with this it just shows you have no clue what is really going behind closed doors. There is a lot of money riding on all of this. There are a lot of factors at play that you don't hear about. Agents are even involved pushing back on management. Its a lot of pressure on everybody. KOC is responsible for a lot of who you see out there playing.. Corbin is only givin so much leeway for what he can do. He just isn't very good at that either. Lets also not forget that KOC hired Corbin for the job. Thats just another reason to put some blame on KOC.

Even if none of that were true, there still would be pressure on Corbin just from a psychological stand point by him wondering why KOC didn't trade Al or Paul and who he should be playing, therefore scaring him into the safest bet (the vets)
