Coronavirus

1.5 months behind Italy? Okay. If that’s the case, boy howdy did we get numbers to plateau much quicker. Also, Italy’s median age is 10 years older, they smoke 50%+ more, and we have 3x the number of critical care beds. The US does have twice as much diabetes. But our hospitalizations are going down, the number of positive tests has plateaued and decreased for a week, and daily deaths have been flat. Curious in hearing more about being 1.5 months behind Italy.
Italy was rated second healthiest country on the world just behind Spain. USA was ranked 36. You can keep arguing that USA is somewhat healthier if you can. https://worldpopulationreview.com/countries/healthiest-countries/

I spoke with my friend who is nurse in Pensylvania - boy the situation is grim over there. Official numbers you guys are seeing is nothing what real death toll in USA is. People without insurance are dying at home from "pneumonia", "flu" and other official diagnosis because nobody cares testing them for corona.

To clarfiy, you are behind by taking this virus seriously. Plus average intelligence of american is way bellow of italian too.
Just read this. Pathetic and sad.

This is the ******** that pisses me off. This article is only telling a portion of the story. The pastor that died had diverticulitis and was subject to frequent infections. As per his daughter:
"He has diverticulitis, so it's not uncommon for him to get fevers or you know virus or sinus infection," Crawley explained.

covid may have exacerbated the persons condition but he was not a healthy person to begin with.

Only 74,385,357 more cases to go to hit that number you all geniuses promised and promoted(brainlessly fear mongered).

So whens this exponential growth supposed to happen like you falsely claimed? At this rate about 200,000 a day need to get sick for a full year to hit your smart numbers. Since April 1st we are averaging a little over 30,000.

We'll see the results when we start doing more tests. As long as the testing rate is constant or linear, so will the number of positive tests be constant or linear. As of now, the CDC has stopped doing tests entirely, and much of the country is under-supplied.

But, keep bragging about how our inability to test supports your notion the disease can't spread. Also, the next time someone throws a punch at you, make sure to close your eyes. If you can't see it, it's not real, right?

Which makes his claims to being protected from COVID, and his ignoring of the social distancing guidelines, even stupider.

I agree that he wasn't very bright but the **** reporting that is creating excessive fear is getting tiresome.

Wait now you're saying the disease can't spread and even though there are about 30,000 new cases a day there's no testing? I could see latin or fish believing that but your smarter than that. Or so I thought.

Now you want to resort to violence. Chill bro.

That's not even close to what he said.

Funny. What he accused me of "supports your notion the disease can't spread" wasn't even close to anything I've ever said so like him I guess it's ok to lie. Not surprised you called me out but not his blatant lie. You all only care about lies when it suits you and this is a fantastic example.

Well, I did leave out the word "exponentially". Pretty much your whole argument has been that the disease can't spread exponentially.

"You all"? When was the last time I said anything to you, man? It's been months, and I think you'll find I was very respectful. Not saying anybody is justified in ganging up on anybody else, but you have to admit that you like to antagonize, and that doesn't generally lead to positive interactions.

But it is not about what he died from or what other conditions he had. It is about the dangerous ignorant messages he was passing around.

I was simply commenting on the article itself and how it was only partly accurate.

Can you provide a single post where I've ever said such thing? Your just lying now.

You said it today, post #2261, in this very thread. Perhaps you don't realize the denial of exponential growth is an implication of what you said, but it is.
