Italy was rated second healthiest country on the world just behind Spain. USA was ranked 36. You can keep arguing that USA is somewhat healthier if you can. https://worldpopulationreview.com/countries/healthiest-countries/1.5 months behind Italy? Okay. If that’s the case, boy howdy did we get numbers to plateau much quicker. Also, Italy’s median age is 10 years older, they smoke 50%+ more, and we have 3x the number of critical care beds. The US does have twice as much diabetes. But our hospitalizations are going down, the number of positive tests has plateaued and decreased for a week, and daily deaths have been flat. Curious in hearing more about being 1.5 months behind Italy.
I spoke with my friend who is nurse in Pensylvania - boy the situation is grim over there. Official numbers you guys are seeing is nothing what real death toll in USA is. People without insurance are dying at home from "pneumonia", "flu" and other official diagnosis because nobody cares testing them for corona.
