Could Gobert eventually replace Favors in the Lineup?

Early extension was a nice surprise and I hope the Jazz won't trade it and keep him. I really wanna watch Favors-Gobert duo whenever they have a noticeable size advantage against the opposition.
That's actually the point. That contract is extremely tradeable if and when Gobert starts to blow up as a legit defending Center to pair with Kanter.

Every player in the NBA is replaceable with any other player. Whether the replacement is as good is another story.

That's true but personalities are not replaceable mostly. And despite many posters here dissing Favors' no-emotion looks, I like his behaviors the way they are.

If the preseason has proven anything at all, it seems to have proven hotttnickkk right. Again! Wowzers!
Favors is a world-class defender, and his underwhelming offensive game is miles ahead of Gobert's. It'll take Gobert years just to be as strong as Favors. And I'm ignoring the fact that the Jazz are actually invested in Favors. Can he eventually replace him? Like by 2018? I don't know. There's this amazing 12 year old kid at the rec center next to my house. Can he eventually replace Burke?

Not Favors but I would love him to take Kanter's place. But he needs to get stronger and develop an offense. His rebounding and blocking by using his length is just so fun to watch.
And let's not forget that dude is really agile for his length.

He is very raw offensively, but on defense he had good timing for a big man, especially on the weakside. He's a more athletic Eaton for today's NBA.
