Come on Raja! Run the offense.. we don't need you to take outside low percentage shots after a team finally misses a shot! Stupid..
 
I don't think we're playing that bad tonight, Dallas is just making a lot of contested shots. Yeah, they've had some open 3's, the rotations have been a bit slow, but those same shots have been misses 9 out of 10 times so far this season.
 
Jazz look befuddled by the Mavs offense. Rotations late every time. It would help to stop doubling guys like 40 year old Jason Kidd.
 
Millsap is always bothered by players with good length. Odom has always given him fits, no surprise that he's also having trouble against Marion and even Dirk to a certain extent.
 
And once again, CJ has forgotten how to play defense ... with no Josh Howard on the bench, Corbin has no choice but to play him. Hell.
 
Corbin should play the most effective players every game. This happens way too often. Nobody is entitled to minutes, and you don't take out the entire team when they have cut the deficit to 1 point. Real annoying.

CJ has forgotten to play defense? CJ was doing better than Hayward.

By half, a coach should have an idea what's gonna work.

What's working in this game is Watson-Burks-Miles-Millsap-Jefferson. Tinsley would probably work, too. Sprinkle in Favors and Kanter as needed.
 
Charles Barkley is making himself look VERY stupid right now. They Jazz have a +.500 SOS. He's not making a strong case for his argument.

I've been relatively happy with Corbin's substitutions so far this year, but his subs against the Lakers and tonight have been rather mechanical. Burks over Bell, and he might try putting Millsap on Marion with Favors as the PF.

At least he gets closer to the effectiveness strategy than the robotic Sloanian substitutions of old.

I completely agree. I'm a huge advocate of letting players stay in the game if they are effective. As long as they are increasing a lead, or cutting a deficit, don't take them out until they get tired. I do believe he left them in a couple minutes longer than usual tonight.

The number of games played home/away was his most valid argument. But yeah, you'd expect more from the second-best PF ever.

On two occasions, Marion got open under the basket while Miles was wondering where his man went. On the last occasion, Miles was in position to cover Marion, he never even tried.
