What's new

Dante Exum everybody!

I don't think it will be that difficult, TBH. And I think there are five clear starters. As a rookie with no college experience, I don't think Exum expects to be a starter. Also doubt Hood has that expectation.
PG: Burke (32); Exum (16)
SG: Burks (32); Exum (16)
SF: Hayward (35); Hood (13)
PF: Kanter (30); Novak (18)
C: Favors (30); Gobert (18)

Evans should get some playing time as will another PG. With injuries, it may be more accurate to allot more mins for each position when putting in "per game" averages. I don't see a problem starting off the season. It may get trickier at mid-year when it becomes obvious to everyone that Exum >>>>> Burke. And it could also be interesting if Tomic comes over.
I really like those lineups and minutes

and new exciting coach! This is what we should have done last year, though we probably wouldn't have gotten exum and would've hated the new coach for sucking.

Only 18 minutes for Gobert?!!! Damn you to Hell, Commie!

So take a few away from Kanter or Novak and play Favors a bit at PF. AS I mentioned, injuries also play a part; that 18 is likely 20+ when you factor in games that are missed. Gobert averaged less than 10 mins/per last season and played in only 45 games. So his minutes are doubling AND he's playing in EVERY game. He'll be ok with that.

Exum oozes potential every time the ball is in his hands. He's going to be thrilling to watch, and they're going to build around him.

Not tonight he didn't. I hope he's able to bounce back from this mediocre game.

The potential is there, even if the conditioning definitely is not. Looks like they might have to work him in slowly after all. Was hoping they could get him out there and have him contribute immediately. Hopefully before the All Star break he's ready to go full bore.

Sometimes it's the mentality of the game that affects the breathing and stamina. Believe it or not, sometimes you forget to breath.

Exum is going to be playing with the National Team after this, not super worried about his conditioning come regular season. I srsly doubt we will be asking him to play 30 mpg from the get-go like we did Trey.

Nah, think it's the whole this is only the 2nd actual competitive 5 on 5 game he has played in a year.

Can't wait to watch Dante play in the FIBA World Cup this Fall.

I could give two ****s about summer league stats, I just wanted to watch him play and see how he looked. Holy hell this kid is quick. Westbrook, Derrick Rose-esque (minus the vertical explosion). He is a phenomenal talent. Frankly, I think he's a no-brainer at #4, I can't believe Orlando just gifted him to us.

League Pass is a must for 2014-2015.
