As a Suns fan...I'm pissed. We should have given him a 1+1 deal.
Elf is great at getting to the rim, he is a fantastic passer. His shot is improving and should continue to improve now that he cut his hair. He can also play damn good defense when he wants.

I didn't understand Orlando dumping Payton for next to nothing. He isn't great but is only 24 and was hitting the 3 at an improved rate (37%). They either thought he was going to get some big offer in free agency (he didn't), or thought Trae Young would still be on the board when they would pick. Neither happened, and now they go into the season with Shelvin Mack or DJ Augustin as their starting PG. They are going to suffer this year.
