The thing about Koufos is he dramatically regressed from his rookie season. Not quite ready to give up on a 7-footer who can shoot the ball out to 20 feet, but if he doesn't show any development in his 3rd-year it's safe to consider him a bust.
If Utah doesn't resign Boozer and stands pat, Memo can return by December and we go into the season with a team of:
PG Williams Price Gaines
SG Matthews Miles
SF Kirilenko Hayward
PF Millsap AK/FA
C Okur/Koufos/Fesenko
I think we're in the 6-9 range in the West, and Deron's going to have to up his FG attempts and scoring average to around 24 ppg, which he's capable of doing. In addition to AK playing PF, in '05-06 we saw Memo could avg about 18ppg playing PF, as always the problem is how much is he going to give up at the other end.
