Look, I don't care if no one else gets it. I'm just happy that Mexico and all of their floppingness got beat in Mexico by their biggest rival the USofA. Mods feel free to close this down if you want. I just needed to express my joy over the win.
 
Did the same Mexican team play that was in the Olympics? If so, they're probably still drunk.

The US didn't even play with all their best players...Dempsey, Altidore, and Bradley didn't play...some of Mexico's best players didnt play either but still it was a nice win for us.
 
Yeah I watched it as well definitely was a shocker, question for the more experienced soccer fan since I'm just a newer casual fan or even less to the game. To me Beckerman played pretty well, I think I noticed a few mistakes early on but then the whole team was that way and played IMO ultra conservative, I'd guess it was the game plan. But anyway he seemed to play his position and what he was asked very well and was the pass that lead to the pass type of guy, any other opinions?
 
By the way orangello, I'm just giving you ****. I'm what would be considered an above average fan, but not an aficionado if you know what I mean.

Beckerman is a freaking stud. I'd take him on my team any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
 
you guys can talk soccer all you want, but when it comes down to the big time show, the World Cup, neither Mexico or USA have a chance... Brazil rules! The only 5 times champion!!!
