What's new

Dennis Lindsey: We will be VERY active in free agency

Just heard that DeRozen spurned the Lakers because of their history and all of the legends that have played there. Awesomeness...

That's the big win this offseason is the lakers getting zero respect. Can't even get meetings.

Weird he wouldn't wait a little longer and go to a contender (Spurs, Warriors) for that price. Or something.

The Pacers are having themselves quite the offseason.

He's a tough fit for a lot of those teams. Think it works well in Indiana though.

What has the nba turned into so many players that were barely considered nba players just a couple years ago getting these type of deals

First some of these guys developed... Second this is the free agency bubble year. I would not overpay anyone on a deal lasting longer than two years... At the trade deadline I think teams will be regretting some of these signings and looking for places to dump them or other salary.

A scoring big off the bench isn't a tough fit for any of them. Al is likely to come off the bench, or else this makes no sense.

It's the way he scores IMO... SA and warriors particularly don't change much of who they are and not sure they'd dump it down to big al for 15-20 minutes a night. Spurs already have Aldridge too. Boston would have been interesting for him.

I think he could have waited though and received more but I'm happy for him... Really like that dude and that should be a good situation for him. Not sure he has championship DNA so I'm not sure those other teams are a great fit.

The one thing that i learned is that Yahoo needs to give Woj the max. Needs to look into picking up Zach Lowe as well.

I don't really expect much activity from the Jazz via free agency. But I do expect them to say something like 'oh we were interested and tried hard but it was no good' yada yada as usual. No offense.
