Dennis Schroeder "will seek other opportunities to be a starter"...

Sorry man, but you're better than that.
Let me address your arguments real quick:
1) We don't know what happened internally or in the backgrounds with agents

Which quite literally does not matter. Like, at all. Players get moved without public knowledge all the time. This is the expectation, in order to not throw the team who drafted you under the bus.
2) Ppl don't always act rationally. And from my experience Dennis does not off the court.

This is simply an invalid excuse for any human

3) I'm not a Schröder fanboy of any kind. I like how he plays on the court and that's it. Off the court, I most definitely don't support his antics. But I can separate between the two. If you ever read and correctly memorized stuff I wrote here about him, you'd know that.

I don't read your posts all the time-- but I know you're German, so I just put 1 and 1 together. It was the only explanation (to me) as to how you can excuse him of his antics as just "well he's JUST an NBA player u guys!"

4) One thing in this context we haven't discussed yet: There's always the possibility that this quote has been altered or thrown out of context to appear like this. The magazine that got this quote is a friggin tabloid. They sometimes do these things to get a better headline.

Quotes appear in multiple sources, and it's easy to find them in context-- I'll spare you the time: I translated entire articles from German during the 2013 draft (I actually wanted us to draft Dennis with 14, but only because I thought Burke would be out of our reach) and the context was there. He's immature. Plain and simple.

We saw this again when he blamed his team's loss on his coach's "stupid idea" to foul when up 3 (very common) even though he missed a free-throw that would ice the game-- ROFLMAO. Classic Dennis.

Well easy for your to say. These players sometimes have a different perception of themselves, their work, their progress.
And Dennis has always been very cocky.

"These players"? Name one player on the Jazz with Schröder's attitude problem.

This is the first time I have ever seen Dal be critical of a Euro.

i'm critical of lots of Euros, man. I just think their basements (for lots of players) isn't nearly as low as people think.

I think Tomic and Bjelica are NBA players capable of producing. Do I think they're all-stars? Nope.

99% sure I wanted Dennis and Rudy with 14 and 21, due to my well-known Euro love. Take that JFC.

Went out the window when we drafted Burke tho. Still happy with that trade, and what we got with 9 and 27.

I wouldn't want to trade Exum for Schroder, but I don't think Exum is a sure fire thing either.

I would probably rather trade Lyles. We need to get this point guard thing settled. The more prospects the better.

The Jazz just need to stop drafting bad players.
Exum is definitely not a sure thing to be a star, but the point is that the potential is there. Drafting Exum was a "swing for the fences" move, which is exactly what we needed, and still do, not jumping ship like lots of people are advocating.

We should have drafted Terry Rozier or. Instead of plain *** Trey Lyles.

Rozier is legit. Looks like he could be real good, on both sides of the ball.

Jazz need to stop drafting plain *** weak players with no athletic upside. Trey Burke was just ridiculous.

Looks pretty similar to a Burke highlight video. Ball dominant.
I agree. I was expecting a lot of more dimes. He obviously gives more than what Dante and Trey Burke offers about aggresiveness in driving inside. And I like his free minded game style. He is not tunnel visioned. But he likes to take it to the hole himself, that's for sure.

Yes, because a highlight video is going to show the assists more than the scoring. Dennis is willing passer, and great team player.
I didnt really expect that coming out of the draft, but if you actually watch the games instead of highlights youll see.

Not to be an *******, I just hope you give him a chance before you write him off. He will play within a system, and take over a game.
Really hes the perfect combonation of attack, and feed. Silky smooth too.

Not at all. I accept my ignorance about him. And will definitely check him out a lot more.

We all love highlight videos, but usually dont see a players complete game. I love seeing the assists on highlight videos, and wish
they would feature more.

Think about this too. Dante has the skill to absolutely blow by defenders, and be the man. That is not what I question. Does he
have the balls, drive, and courage to? Watch Schroeder driving to the hoop. Have we seen Dante do any of this? Can you picture Exum
finishing the way schroeder does?

So you are giving teams a free pass to be not loyal to their employees? But players should be loyal to their employer at all times? Sorry, man world doesn't work like this. Not in the last 10 million years, probably not going to change in the next 10 minutes.

And what you say excuse, I call an explanation. And as I previously said one that I don't necessarily agree upon.

So that's racial/nationalistic profiling that you exert upon me when expecting I'm going to be a homer of a German player no matter what.
Also would you say headstrong egoistic behaviors is an anomaly with athletes in the National Basketball Association? Or their executives even?

I mock drafted Rudy at 14 here. After his first year I thought: Dam son, I thought he'd be better with a relatively healthy rookie season(There was that toenail situation at the start of that season)
After that my expectations were lowered to a point where I thought Rudy's ceiling was to be a rim protection specialist on backup units.
Then he destroys Spain in the World Cup and last season happened.
I also think as a player on the court Dennis is pretty good. Because he's got elite attributes in the areas of spatial awareness and speed. And those specific ones aren't easy to stop w/o opening up other opportunities. I also think he has a legit chance to have a better career than Rondo based on longevity and retrospect criticism of Rondo, that he was only good with all the hall of famers around him and ppl not being enough aware of "advanced statistics" back then.

I've heard rumours what happened after that specific game with the coach being upset at Dennis for not hitting free throws (When Dennis was clearly the main reason Germany was in a position to win)
A coach should know what personalities their players have. And not saying the coach can't have one himself. But he's gotta live with the results of his decisions. If he decides to go after a player that has 29 points, 6/7 free throws and 10 points in the 4th quarter and that guy has an attitude, then he should know there's gonna be microphones in front of that guy minutes later. Maybe it was even calculated to get that public discussion and to let Dennis experience the public reaction on that controversy. Who knows? I'm not gonna judge a 22 year old for that.

BOth Burke and Burks show their attitude on the court from my perspective. OH and then there was this Kanter guy. Remember him?
He btw did everyhing right and his agent got him a monster contract(Tristan's gotta be jealous that Rich Paul couldn't get him a similar result)

Exum would be more effective than Dennis, if he had a mindset like Russell Westbrook. But to each his own. This player is still too young. Not too far only last year, he said that his mom was happy to know that Utah is a good place and Dante can walk out at nights. Lol.

right because this can't be done through coaching staff and agents-- must be done through the media.

Shows Schro's immaturity, and your fanboyism.
Did you read his post?
He said maybe dennis already tried simply speaking to his coaching staff and agents but got no results...... And then at that point went through the media

He would not be one of his kind if he has attitude problems or a little more head strong than desired, but just because basketball has become a pro business, it doesn't mean that players have the right to bash their coaches and teams as employers. There is a big difference between a basketball team and a business firm. A ball team's most necessary possession is the team chemistry. It's the most important asset for success and it is the game's nature. It is business firms that try to grow "team work" by copying the team spirit of sportsmanship. Why would it evolve the other way around?
