Not too bad a contract for the Clips.
Most players overrate themselves. They'll point to some example where a scrub got overpaid and think "why can't I get more than that guy?!".Did anyone else read how DeAndre was offended by the offer and was obviously going to wait and sign an offer sheet with another team because that offer was way too low. Good grief Charlie Brown. I hope nobody gives him a higher offer.

Trevor Ariza thought he was worth more than the MLE in a market where not many teams were under the cap. AK thought he was worth more than Pau Gasol. These guys are lunatics.
.You speak the truth. Rep for you, Hotpocket for me!
sign Early OOP Watson for sure
By the way AK is actually donating all his earnings in Russia to charity, but of course how long does he want to keep doing that? He has got to feed his family. If someone offers him 10 million I believe he will definitely be over. Not sure he will quite get that much though. In an interivew he did he actually did not seem entirely happy to be in Russia full time.
AK at any price is too high.. I'm not hating on AK, just stating my opinion. He has too much history, we have wanted him and his bloated contract gone for years. This is the Jazz's chance to finally be done with him. I know that his contract was larry's fault and yes i would take all the money offered to me. But AK took the money and was injured every season. I am still unhappy with his crying on national during the playoffs. yes this was a long time ago, but a guy making max money and sitting for a third of the season should not be crying to reporters. Also as we have learned in the past - success in Russia does not translate to success in the NBA.
It Does seem Pretty tough to be able to provide food off his meager wages...

Yeah, pretty sure it wasn't until he topped $12 mill that he was able to stop getting food stamps. Poor guy.
I think he was in the same boat as Sprewell.
These greedy owners do not pay their players enough. Man cant even afford his yacht.
What's next? The maid? Sell the Ferrari? How can they expect people to clean up after themselves and drive a *gasp* domestic?
Oh wait, tricked out Escalade to the rescue. Phew, they were awful close to driving a Dodge.
