What's new

Donald Trump

ooh wait i am racist to say a politician is a monkey in a suit? but arnet those same liberals saying we evolved from monkeys.
so why is calling a politician a monkey in a suit racist?

i just thnink it is wrong for u to assume i am a racist.
whether Obama was white black yellow green purple or rainbowcollored. i would have called him a monkey in a suit. it has absolutely 0 to do with his race

No, you may not be a racist. But the good Dr. was telling you that using the term 'monkey' does open you up to being considered a racist. Right or wrong, that's the way it is. Ditch all the simian references... so it doesn't distract from your message... or... not...

I think Carly is gunna take the nation by storm. I think she is the kind of woman women would like to see become the first female president.

When you hear her talk... you would think so... but she has been VERY slow to build momentum... and I've been very disappointed by her national polls.

Wonder if she'll get any of the 'free radical' votes, which unpair from The Donald... after his let down Thursday...

What's her record?

Double 'ouch' post here. Not sure I should roll with you in the mud on this one...
Racism is not party specific... In fact, it was the Democratic party who maintained segregation... And it sure seems they are using race, gender and income to divide the nation... for political gain, the most today...
Racist, bigots, saints and sinners on both sides...

BTW... Think you would agree use if the N-word worse than the m-word... but you knew that...

False - aside from a nicely rehearsed closing statement what did he do better than anyone else in the bulk of the time?

Then he also said this about race:

You know, I was asked by an NPR reporter once why don't I talk about race that often. I said, "It's because I'm a neurosurgeon." And she thought that was a strange response.. I said, "You see, when I take someone to the operating room, I'm actually operating on the thing that makes them who they are. The skin doesn't make them who they are. The hair doesn't make them who they are. And it’s time for us to move beyond that because.. Our strength as a nation comes in our unity.

That was refreshing to hear and also what we needed to hear as a nation.

His closing statement was bawse regardless if it was rehearsed or not.

I came away impressed with him. He had a strong second half of the debate after being ignored for long stretches in the first half (he is soft spoken and contrasted unfavorably to some of the other guys).

Of course the black guy in the republican party is going to down play race. It's what allows him to be the token black guy in the republican party. The majority of the republican minded people want to hear him say race really doesn't matter at all.

So much racism in this thread.
