Donovan Mitchell Highlight Videos, Spectacular Plays

Donovan continues to embrace this community and where he’s at. It’s amazing how much more Donovan has embraced it here more than that other guy did in 7 years. He goes out of his way to say I’m happy to be here, some guys didn’t say it once in 7 years. And here’s another interview from All Star weekend I saw

Wow. Even embracing these cold *** winters.

The Jazz got someone they’ve never had anyone like, or most franchises for that matter. Last night Donovan tweeted out this

Rose now leads. He also attended a SLC Stars game last night while Louisville was playing an exciting and important game which he’s obviously very passionate about.

I’m no BYU fan but Donovan’s touch with Utah has been more than I’ve ever seen before. Again and again he has proven he will be a part of the community rather than a spectator that just says the right things. He’s been beyond perfect to this point, and we should all enjoy this kid to the fullest extent, he’s such a great kid.

Well, since there cant be player/coaches any more, how about player/mayor for Donovan? Or just skip mayor and go straight for the governorship.

In an age of "dumb jocks," Donovan is just so well-spoken. An in an era of "me-first" athletes and celebs, Mitchell is humble and comes across as just one of us, just like Ingles.

I know Stockton and Malone were great, but I think Mitchell has a chance to be the greatest Jazz player of them all in what he will mean to the team and community.

Does anyone in the west besides Mitchell even have a shot at rookie of the month this season?

Maybe Kuzma, if they run out of the letter V in their trophy machine?

Really, tho, they must be getting tired of giving it to him, but there is seriously no choice.

"That guy is a stud. Holy cow. He plays the 2, plays the 1, plays in pick-and-roll, can catch and shoot, gets to the foul line. He's a heck of a player." — Coach of Sacramento Kings Dave Joerger on Mitchell
doesn't really get to the foul line - that's the one thing he needs to improve, but last night showed why it is so important that he does get to the line. a pedestrian 7-15 FGs, but going 10-10 FTs allowed him to finish with an incredibly efficient 27 points on 15 shots.

But I think last night is a precursor for what's to come in the future. I'm guessing Malone didn't go to the line as much his rookie year.
