We kinda saw that before Mitchell was good. It wasn't a long period of time, but it wasn't good, to the extent that people openly proposed trading Rudy (and I was adamantly not one of them for those of you that lack nuance).

I just think that scoring is easier to replace than elite defense.
Everyone was terrified about how we would score without Hayward. A rookie is doing it. People were worried that hood leaving would hurt us a bunch cause we would be losing scoring. Rubio and ingles stepped up. Seems that every team in the nba can score. Not too many can hold opponents under 100 points as often as a team with Gobert on it.
I remember someone posting a stat last year (wish I could remember the stat) that gobert was a top 3 defensive and offensive player in the league. He was the only player in the league to do that.

What Rudy provides can’t be replaced.

Ha! I like the ending of that.

But it’s hardly the health dangers that will put you at risk. Think of the social dangers. What is not shown in Cool Hand Luke are the scenes of the night following the egg challenge. Those guys live in a barracks, with 50 people crammed together in double-decker bunks. The prisoners might have enjoyed watching the challenge, but who could withstand the resulting gastric events as those eggs digest?

After all, if an egg salad sandwich at lunch can cause noxious emissions in the afternoon, who would want to be around you after downing dozens? Seriously.

I'm confident it won't. Donovan seems to be a genuinely grounded and humble person who cares about others.
