You need an answer? Mostly it wasn’t the initial reaction, but the months long drag out of the situation where he left the most responsible guy for his career success aside from him out to dry over a petty and stupid situation, and since then, he’s shown what a petty child he is plenty more times. So yes. Not the initial reaction, but the fact it took until June for him to say a word about it while everyone piled on Rudy and then he give his half *** BS CAA answers just the same when he finally does address it by reading something from some canned script his agency gave him. And guess what, his childish moment? Still haunting headlines as a dark cloud still to this day all because he couldn’t act like a grown *** man over the period of 3 months.

Have to say, the meltdowns Jazz “media” are having on twitter is kinda of funny to see. Unlike the Hayward situation, I understand that it’s a matter of “if” and not “when” and I also know Mitchell is going out the Paul George way and we’re not going to be left with nothing. Ben Dowsett is the most neurotic person ever lol.

So what is the "Utah Question".

When i moved from Dixie to SLC, every newbie in town had to publicly bemoan the weirdness of Utah to be well-accepted in Utah.

It was the only way national media could relate to anything here.

I sorta got spoiled on lifetimer Jazz players like Stockton, Malone, and Eaton. Lifers.

Make it Mitchell's dream.
 
Utah is a socially and politically conservative State. Always has been and probably always will be. I think Spida is chafing at that. It might be something that can't be resolved or perhaps it can be. At least he doesn't have a spouse that thinks Mormons are the anti-christ.

  • Executive vice president William Wesley has been lobbying owner James Dolan with a plan to acquire a star and is focused on Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell, a source tells Steve Popper of Newsday. There are some New York connections for Mitchell, who is a former client of team president Leon Rose and worked closely with associate head coach Johnnie Bryant when he was in Utah. Popper points out that Mitchell will make $30.4MM next season and won’t hit the open market until 2025 at the earliest, and any deal the Knicks could offer would have to include almost every asset at their disposal."
