What's new

Doufos is gone

Koufus just always seemed overmatched and too slow. If he makes progress he could be a career back up but I imagine he is most likely going to be in Europe after his first contract.

I thought Koufos played with a purpose in summer league like he knew this was his last chance. I think he has a good attitude and seems to work harder than other guys but his talent/skill level won't ever let him become more than a backup at best in the NBA. There was a reason those teams ahead of us passed on him in the draft.

Koufos is the classic hard working dude who doesn't have enough attitude. You can't survive in the NBA if you're not a little cocky. I hope it works out for him, though. I like the kid, and he did give us one of the better stories last year.

If you read the whole post genius you would have seen I was excluding his performance last season. If you saw him play in 08-09 or in college you would know he has a nice left and right-hand hook in the lane.

So digressing is a good thing? What am I missing here?

Vinylone is very far from being a genius. In fact, it's pretty common knowledge around here that he's a dumbass. Just ask hopper, eh?

In general you're missing alot, but in this case it's the fact that just because a guy plays like a clutz one year doesn't mean you write his career off when he's shown he can play in the previous 3 years. You have to evaluate a player's whole body of work and not get caught up in "what just happened is the end-all be-all" mode. Then again, that's the nature of this forum. Draft Hayward: Fire KOC. Lose Boozer&Korver: Deron's gone in 2 yrs. Trade for Al Jefferson: #2 seed here we come!

It's a lot. Bro.

I don't agree. Like Janet used to say, "What have you done for me lately?" I mean, that's the crux of the situation isn't it? The now. The present. I don't give a **** what a player did a year ago. I want to see him succeed and play in a confident manner now. I didn't write off his career because I never though he was going to have one. I was critical of his pathetic *** since day one. Once that dance video of his came out, I knew he was going to be a bust.

Your a supporter of his...fine. I'm not. Get over it.

There's nothing I need to get over, I'm merely stating my opinion on a player's abilities. I'll keep doing that and hopefully you will continue to enlighten the world with yours.

how could anyone think doufus will even be in the nba after this contract..I mean he looked allrite some in summerleague..some and that pretty much sums up why he is not a nba player
