DX Video on Damian Lillard

Let's see.. Burks was picked #12 of last year's crap draft. In this year's draft he might be lucky to get picked before #20 in this year's loaded draft.

Millsap, as good as we think he is, is still an undersized PF whose contract will expire next year.

Jazz could get way better for Millsap + Burks. Lillard isn't even worth the GSW Pick IMO, he is a good player but we don't need to give up a ton of talent for one need especially an unproven rookie. I wouldn't even give up Burks + Millsap for Jrue Holiday who's game is similar to Lillard's except proven.

Let's hear it.

Here is an FYI:

Seven participants for #Raptors Tues. #NBA draft workout: K. Marshall, G - UNC; D. Joseph, G - Oregon; D. Lillard, G - Weber St.;

I would like to see this workout.

With regards to post #107 (Thriller), I've often thought that the offense that the Jazz ran this past season was a result of the lockout and showcasing Jefferson. The offense they ran was much simpler than trying to install a system that relies on lots of movement, passing and timing (along the lines of what they did in 2004). Unfortunately, it didn't work well for Harris. I wouldn't have a problem keeping Harris if Al is traded, provided the Jazz get out and run as well as run an offense better suited to Harris (don't construe that as an offense designed around Harris). Short version: Al and Devin don't work well together (I have a hard time seeing anyone trading for both, btw).

I still haven't the slightest idea why ANYONE is dying to get rid of the best player on the Jazz for the last two seasons and the only player that embodies Jazz basketball left on the team.

Millsap and Burks for #6 is something an idiot would suggest, yes. Idiots fall in love with some kid out of college and lose all sense of perspective every single year. If you're trading anything close to proven for a draft pick, you had better be damn certain you're getting a real player back. And no one is certain of that.

I hope this is the case.
