If Malone works with a healthy Enes next year, could defintely see a lot midrange post game added to Enes' play. The people who want to trade the Favors/Kanter duo are being very impatient. If anyone should be traded, it is very well Hayward. For what, I do not know, but if we're getting Jabari then Gordie could very well be expendable. And as we all know, Haywerd wants BUIG money.

Styles make teams(Luv ya dal bro "no homo!1" props to the luv earlier$) and next year you got Burke, a 2 Gawd Parker Faves and Kanner with our dream coach (because Lindsey is the Don Corleone of teh NBA$) we will bust head in the NBA. Check Melos first year. He took the Nugz to the playoffs if you don't remember.

I analysed the potential for this trade extensively in the 2014 draft thread just tonight - peruse it at your leisure.

Imagine if Burke turns out to be decent, low TO's, 5-6 assists per game, shoots 40% from 3's...

We draft Jabari with our pick and package GSW pick & Hayward to move up and grab Aaron Harrison.

Favors
Kanter
Jabari
Aaron Harrison
Burke

That's a very very decent team going forward.

- Solid leadership in Burke & Jabari.
- GREAT shooting (potentially) from Burke, Aaron, Jabari and Kanter
- Slashers in Aaron and Jabari
- Decent size & defensive potential
- CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP

You're welcome.

The nowadays-stopped-being-called Core of this Jazz team was a team that was supposed to be a very decent team for going forward too.

Making a franchise roster takes;

Hardworking
Good character
Teamwork laborer
Patient
Determined to Win
Hate to lose but mature enough to digest the lose and stand up for the next competition

players to build up with.

At this point, patience is the only thing we could have, if we come over the shocking reality of this season's going that is nowhere near any other season, not only in win ratio but also in basketball quality.

We all know these are talented players. But maybe this team really need their new coach with a firing trigger attitude.

Long term success in a league that lasts as long as NBA requires many many things to sum up together in the pocket. Patience is the one to start with, if you think you have something to start with.

I think we should start to think more about living with Carpe Diem more and more as the times goes by.

Mods, please change thread title to Enes Kanter could > Dirk

TIA

Patience is needed but sometimes you have to consider the financial side of building a team. Just as OKC did and didn't do. They had to let Jeff Green go because he was too expensive. He is a player similar to Hayward in they both can put up very good numbers but they tend to be inconsistent due to not having the "nasty" character in their game. Trading Hayward, a very good player, but one that wants way more than he is worth is the right thing to do financially. Talent wise it may or may not hurt depending on what you get back in the trade.

If the Jazz re-sign Hayward and he continues to be inconsistent then the Jazz might be reliving the Perkins deal where OKC brought him in and then also signed Ibaka which lead to them losing Harden. Jazz do not want to over pay for Hayward and then end up losing say Kanter.

SO if the Jazz could get a pick in a loaded draft and say they could draft a player like James Young, Aaron Harrison or Rodney Hood, I would think you would have to look at doing that trade. Right now all three of the players are fringe or mid 1st round picks so there is a possibility that one of them would be available.

Moar reps coming your way, when possible.

Dat philly shell doe (gon need to do some Black Jesus boxing p-shops)

I think it is pretty safe to say that we have 3 or maybe 4, or was it 2, of the best players to ever play the game. Eventually. I mean if they get better. Only they are the best right now. Except when they're not. But they really are. The best to ever play the game. Guaranteed. Book it.

Kanter top 2 all time, tbh. Favors is prolly top 1, and Hayward is like a whale shark, is he a whale or a shark? Does anyone really even pretend to know? And is Jabari Tongan or black?

The idea of trading Hayward, pairing the returning asset with the GSW pick just, all so we can take another flyer on a wing......
This is a ****stain idea if I've ever heard one. I'm not surprised that this has been authored by __________.

Hayward is an above-average defender who can shoot above 40% from 3. His problem right now is that he is trying to do too much. Turn him into an incredibly rich-man's Danny Green.

while fans are criticizing Hayward, they gotta notice that he does not have any perimeter player helps when he needed next to him. All pressure, eyes are on him. We do not have neither spacing, game plan nor PG. Just try to imagine he's playing for the rockets or Clippers and guess his performance. He would bomb behind the arc, make some assists, blocks and find easy buckets from the transition offense. But it's totally different story in jazz. Unless we have some quality perimeter players, his efficiency will be mediocre at best but this does not change he's got character to be better and most def. talent for being glue for winning team.

"Enes Kanter could = Dirk"

...Dirkawitz just passed Reggie Miller on the all-time scoring list! Kanter couldn't catch Dirk if he stayed in an empty gym for the next 5 years and just shot layups! Have you been drinking or smoking dope???

Technically you are label as the race of your mother correct?

Also, it's just pipe dream to think Kanter will be ala Dirk. Dirk is unique guy as a 7 footer bombing the ball from all over the court while dribbling like a guard. He's not just a finisher but also making plays for the others. Also, you gotta respect his athlethism, discipline and work ethic in his career being 15th guy in the NBA history scoring most points. Kanter's game is similar to Al Horford. Respectable midrange game, good fundamental while posting up, good rebounder, team player, knows how to use their bodies. All Kanter needs is time, patience and experience. he's gonna increase his rebounding numbers, improve his defensive stats and protect his efficiency on offense. The interesting part for him is having one steal till now in this season, so so weird.
