Portland did the rest of the Western Conference a huge favor.
They need to do more before I stop wishing ill on them.

The best part is the trade kicker that pretty much guarantees that Kanter is a Thunder for the life of his contract. There is no way in Hell we would have paid 17 million for Kanter, so any trade we got was a good trade. Hope that team falls apart this year and loses their stars because screw them for moving the Sonics.
And that's why I was not critical of DL getting WHATEVER he could for Enes. We weren't signing him, and some team was either going to offer him a ton of money, or he'd be an ******* while returning for the QO so he could be an UFA next season. The best part is the trade kicker that pretty much guarantees that Kanter is a Thunder for the life of his contract. OKC has a 1 yr window. There's already been friction in the past with Durant and Westbrook over touches. Now add a player in Kanter who wants to score 20+. I can't imagine Durant returning in 2016.
It's being reported (S.I.) that OKC will match. Today's the deadline.
Why is their only a 1 year window when Durant,Westbrook are 26 ,Ibaka 25 and Kanter 23.....throw in backups Adams 21 (C) McGary 23(PF) Waiters23 (SG) 1st round Pick Payne (PG) 20
and Kanter avg 20 PPG in the last 19 games on 14 SPG.......
I could easily see Durant coming back next year with these team mates and easily seeing OKC as one of the top teams of all teams if Durant and Ibaka are a 100% healthy
There have been previous reports of Durant and Westbrook clashing over touches and their positions as the face of the franchise. Now you add a third huge ego to the team in Kanter. I just don't see Durant staying.
The problems have been more with Durant/Westbrook when both have been healthy from what I've read in the past. Maybe that's overblown.Dude, the way they use Kanter he doesn't really get that many touches. It's not a problem.

But it will be interesting to see the dynamics between three players who want to be 20, 25, 30 ppg scorers. Kanter cleans up the garbage from Westbrook. What happens if Westbrook is looking for Durant instead of throwing it inside to Kanter. Or what happens with Durant if Westbrook and Kanter play EXACTLY like they did to finish the season?
There is 0 problem offensively with Kanter in OKC. He is actually the perfect complement to everyone on that team the way they use him.
There will be 0 problem offensively. They will be a top 5 offense in the league.
You guys are going to be sad if Durrant and Westbrook stay healthy. OKC will be a very, very good team next year. There are four teams that can win a title next year: San Antonio, Golden State, Cleveland and OKC.
Glad we traded this turnstile and got anything for him rather than letting him walk away and receive nothing for his services but a **** you and a tear for the mountains.
