ESPN West Predictions For 2013-2014

No it's not. It would be redundant for me to repeat what others have said. I didn't think it was necessary to quote. So I expressed my agreement with them in their disagreement with ESPN.

You in no way expressed that your disagreement with the numbers was the same as anyone elses. You referenced no post or poster.

Also I thought you were not interested in elaborating as you now are?

Fair and balanced or gtfo Maddow!

Hey Stoked, how do you decide what's worthless? For example, nickkk has taken several ****s in this thread, why not call him out? Maybe you've just grown accustomed?

Look Mr. Ornery Pants if I want to post that I do not agree with a projection I will.

32 seems a tad too high for the Jazz for the following reasons:

1. The west is stacked. Portland and a healthy Minnesota look like playoff teams to me. And if Kobe comes back early, they play at least .500 ball. Phoenix is the only truly terrible team.

2. The pg position is incredibly thin: A rookie pg backed up by a 3rd string pg.

3. We have a total of one above average bench player: Burks/Rush

4. Favors AND Kanter are coming off injuries. Gobert isn't NBA ready and Biedrins is Biedrins.

I'd expect 26-29 wins.

Yep.

I agree, though i should say that i think JL3 will suprise a lot of people.

Jabari seems to be slipping big time on many draft boards...

Top 3 is Wiggins, Randle, Exum. Andrew Harrison & Aaron Gordon could also go before him.

Getting #6 pick and grabbing Jabari isn't unrealistic at all.
Because of draft boards??? lol

Shhh

Not looking good.......

I disagree that Utah is already stacked at PF/C. Center maybe, but none of the three have proven themselves at all on any consistent basis. That is what this year is about. I think Utah would need another PF at least who could back-up Favors. Maybe even a 6'8" tweener PF like Millsap was or like Cleveland drafted at #1.

PF is so deep, you buy that in FA or trade for it. There's couple guys slightly overpaid. Jazz won't need their full payroll until in 5 years.

https://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/9560974/2013-summer-forecast-west-standings

They predict the Jazz finish 3rd worst in the West at 32-50 (only 2 off my prediction of 34-48).

That would give the Jazz the 8th pick in the draft. Same as I predicted.

Here are the East predictions as well: https://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/9559931/2013-summer-forecast-east-standings

So they predict the lottery will be:

1. 76ers
2. Suns
3. Magic
4. Bobcats
5. Celtics
6. Kings
7. Bucks
8. Jazz
9. Raptors
10. Lakers
11. Pelicans
12. Blazers/Pistons
13. Pistons/Blazers
14. Mavs

8th place would be unacceptable. There will be a good player there, but no chance at a game changer or #1 option. Let's hope the Jazz didn't let Millsap walk for nothing and sign the worst free agents humanly possible just to get a mid/late lottery pick.

You ever smoke a Jeffrey.... Jeffrey??

If the Jazz win as many as 30 games, I'm gonna be pissed. Corbin has got it easy this year. Just have your team go for the most back court violations in NBA history and we'll be juuuussstt fine!!!
