Stockton was one of the smartest players to ever play the game, and was the best of all time to ever play the position that is referred to as the "coach on the floor" position. Kidd and Jackson are two PG's that were able to translate with zero coaching experience, and they weren't/aren't even half as smart as Stockton. Granted, Kidd and Jackson inherited teams with some gifted players on hand already, but with this draft and the continued development of our current youngs, maybe we could have the players as well.
If the Jazz wanted Stockton, and he accepted, they would be energizing their team and fanbase in a MAJOR way. People would be very forgiving of him and the situation through this rebuilding process. Dude is bigger than Jesus.
