You're an interesting character, Enes.

Back on topic, I was pissed off with portugal and Germany winning. Portugal pretty much has an official invite to the Semi-Finals now, ugh.

Yeah, I am sad that Denmark is leaving.... they had their chances, played with a lot of heart, but that loss vs Portugal in last 3 min doomed them. Germany was just to strong for them. Who is Portugal playing now? I know Germany will be playing Greece - doubt Greece are up to another surprise.
I just can't enjoy Portugal's offense even if they produce nice quality passing and runs - they flop and act so much... just leaves bad taste.

@Nate505,

I don't care about US Football. Football>American Football, period.

Hey don't get furious, you don't give an "f" if I care about US Football. I hope you sleep well tonight.

American football is football. So is rugby (union and league) and Gaelic football for that matter. I think you meant Association football > American football.

FWIW, the World Cup is probably my favorite sporting event ever. Euro Cup is a fine event, and probably the only other meaningful international soccer event, but it's hard for me to get too excited when I have no rooting skin in the game. I tend to root for the Dutch (I just like the country...if I were going by my heritage it would be rooting for the English) but since that's not happening this year I guess I'll root for England.

Great game last night. I was worried for a little bit... The Germany/Denmark game felt weird. Germany was dominating, but Denmark hung in there just enough to make everyone in the room a little worried. Now, it's on to Greece. Hopefully, Germany plays a good game.

I understand you, since Türkiye couldn't get a place in World Cup 10 and this Euro. Especially the 2010 world cup would be more excited with five million turks in Germany.

In this Euro tournament, England was my fav along with Netherlands, Chzechs and Spain in the begining. Dutches had an awful tourney, they went home with zero points, total embarrassment for dutch fans, shame on Robben. England is getting better and Spanish is clearly the best team of the tournament. Denmark should have advanced in a tournament which Greece is advanced. Now I hope for a Spain-France(or England) final.

Your world is too complicated, I know one "football" and you just call it soccer.

It's very simple for us, watch this...

Germany plays very simple football, they hold the ball as much as they can and wait for a chance while not making stupid mistakes on defense. They don't attack furiously like Spain or they don't concentrate the game to the wings like England, they just wait patiently. I won't be surprised if they win it all.

Btw, of course I'm rooting fully for Germany against Greece. I respect their Basketball so much but their football is a disgrace to the game.

Didn't catch the games tonight. Anything exciting happen? Scores look pretty normal. I was kind of hoping for a 2-2 draw between Croatia and Spain.

Croatia got screwed twice by ref swallowing whistle after obvious fouls in the box. Should be 2 penalty shots.

They're playing it wrong.

And I only know one football too. It's a game that has this once awesome player named Peyton Manning who now plays for the, gag, Denver Broncos.

But to add to the topic at hand, from looking at the table all England needs to do is tie to advance, and they'll play Spain or Italy. Hope they draw the Italians. I like rooting against them more than the Spanish.

Russians just screwed even it was fair to see them in quarter final. Netherland my favourite team as always before the tournament but they did not do anything to deserve it. Italy is classical italy, nearly perfect defense and making better passes and their strikers are always changing the score board whenever they find the chance. Greece did not deserve anything but somehow found themselves for the next round. England team is a bit different than their traditional ones, younger, more passes and patience instead of long passes. Spanish team is spanish team, no need to describe them, easily best among the others, Portugal team is full of potential but always up and down, so difficult to guess how they ll be playing before the game.

I'm gonna watch the games tonight. Wayne Rooney might be back, Yeah! Players that play like monsters in League play and then choke on the international level are always fun to watch. I think Ukraine will give them a run for their money or at least make England sweat a little (if Rooney plays).

England has a good chemistry right now. I wonder if Rooney will effect that.

Ukraine begins aggressively... I like it. But it's only going to take one mistake to get burnt by England.

Rooney's back.. but he's looking old to me for some reason.
