I don't know who to blame, I just know it's good to see some of our original guys succeed.

These ex Jazz Men have been killing it in the playoffs thus far.

DWill
Al Jefferson
Millsap
DeMare
Korver
Mo Williams
Wes Matthews
Kuofos

So - whose fault was it that the Jazz didn't utilise them well here in Utah?

Your definition of "Killing It" must be pretty lose.

JFFR can't tell if your being serious or not, the first move Greg made on his own was re-signing CJ Miles that his dad said he wouldn't have and his first two seasons (AK's last 2 seasons) the Jazz were over the salary cap, something his dad never did. Why would you max out your cap when our rebuilding it messes up your flexibility and removes the possibility of trades that will net the Jazz 2x 1st round picks and 2nd round picks from GSW, besides the fact it is Lindsey who decides on who and when to spend the money the Millers just approve it, which Greg has shown he is willing to do. I think his dad was obviously a better owner but why let facts get in they way of our bitching.
Yes, let's definitely keep trading players and getting longer contracts back in return. Then the Jazz can continue to compete for the 7th/8th seed.

1.Really got screwed by trading Brewer. Especially given the fact KOC and his agent were MILLIONS of dollars apart the previous Fall.
2. Huge mistake with Maynor. He's been such a major contributor to teams since.
3. Yep, should have kept Korver. After all, he admitted passing up shots to protect a personal record. Definitely want a "team-first" guy like that.
4. Hindsight is great re: Matthews. 29 GM's didn't see that contract coming. And the 1st year cost would have been $9M+. I'll blame that one on Larry H. Dad reportedly vetoed trades for AK which would have left the Jazz room under the tax.
5. Mo...are you kidding me, Thriller? We couldn't have GIVEN him away with the season he was having.
6. Paul and Big AL...we got cap space. And Lindsey flipped that into the #23 pick this season and a 2017 1st rounder.

Boom Bitches team ahead of OKC in the playoffs.

Korver, DeMare and Millsap are on the verge of the 8th seed over 1st seed upset.

Mo and Wes are playing great for the rampaging POR team making Harden and Howard looking like high school kids.

They are all doing about what they did with Utah .... save Matthews .. but he isn't a rookie anymore ...... They are on better teams or are playing against the Pacers ..... not really killing it.... good try though.

Teague is playing inspired and the Pacers are the fakest 1 seed the league has ever seen. This has nothing to do with Ty or Utah or Kimye or whomever ..

It has EVERYTHING to do with Ty is my honest opinion.

We had big Al and Millsap I bet Budenholzer could have done more with them.

The third one: kkKKKkkkKKKKkkKKKKKkKKKkkkkkKKkkkkkkkkKKKkkkkkk

What was our record with Big Al and Paul? 43-39, IINM. So same as Charlotte, better than Atlanta. I wouldn't say the ex-Jazz players are "killing it" with their new teams. They are who we thought they were and benefitting from a weaker conference.

Sorry, that was my cell phone playing up.

But they are separated now and doing the same. I truly believe that if we had, had a better coach last year we would have done a lot better. Our team was pretty loaded.

corbin was/is a terrible coach.

absolute joke that he wasnt able to do anything with

sap, jefferson, dmc, nor harris.

harris isnt amazing, but he's a solid PG.

Was going to lay some truth down in this thread but GVC already did a splendid job in post #20.

Repped.

Please kill this thread.

Also, why would there be fault to place if certain players are playing well? Wouldn't props be in order instead?

Ty was an average coach. Not nearly as bad as some here think he was, and not nearly as good as Franklin thinks he is.

He struggled with rotations, and it was obvious the players gave up on him towards the end. It was obviously time for him to go.

With that said, this thread, like all nickkkkk threads, is stupid.

The best voice of reason re: Ty. Agree 100%.
